Attention all dog walkers!

Blue-Green Algae (Cyanobacteria) can occur from May - Oct.

What is it?
As we head into the warmer months, it's important to be aware of the potential dangers of blue-green algae in bodies of water. These microscopic organisms can produce toxins that are harmful to both humans and animals.

What can you do?
If your dog has been exposed to blue-green algae, they may experience symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, and difficulty breathing. If you suspect your pet has been exposed, seek veterinary attention immediately. While en route to the vet, rinse off your pet with clean water, rinse their eyes, nose, and mouth, and try to collect a sample of vomit or diarrhea for the veterinarian.

Remember, early treatment is crucial to prevent serious complications.

- 30/2 Compression Ratio
- 100/120 Compression per minute
- Compress the chest by 1/3
- Don't stop until you can no longer continue, help arrives or you reach definitive care (VET).
