Some self and equine reiki today! We had another lovely hack as we have an extra holiday cover horse to take out for a wander.
I did some joint reiki for Amigo and I to keep us both nice and chilled for today's hack 💞
I was back to wee Bailey for his monthly reiki today. He's been doing well and managed to stay calm and quiet for an hour when left home alone.
I'm still working with the heart symbol chakra as it seems to work with this gorgeous wee man 💞

Even when he heard noises in the stables he had a bit of a nosey when normally he would look up very quickly to see what it was 💕
I'm now on holiday and will be back on Wednesday 14th February. I'll respond to any enquiries from this date, hopefully my out of office will work this time!

I did another distance reiki for Glover today, it's good to do a couple of short sessions at the start of a reiki journey.
Glover was again wary of me being around his head so I imagined my hands further away this time for his head amd ears which are also a bit sensitive and he was fine with this. I worked my way over Glover, calming as I went and he felt quite mischievous at the start! He was however not so happy at his back end so again I kept my distance and only did reiki for a very short time here so that it wasn't too much for him.
I went back to doing lots of calming reiki around his heart, solar plexus and within his kennel. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for Glover finding a much deserved home 💞
I did some reiki for my boy this evening, he's been a bit hyper with the wild and windy weather so I felt he needed some calming time. He is still zonked after I did another reiki this evening!
I did some chakra work with him and sent some extra energy to his neck and lower back where he can often be a bit tight there as he compensates for his arthritis elbows 💞
I'm going to start a new series of posts and call it Tag a Business Tuesday! I will chat about a business I have personally used, mostly animal care based to start with.
First up is my boy's favourite vet, Ellen at PinPoint Veterinary Services.
As well as being a 'normal' vet Ellen is also trained in acupuncture, animal chiropractic work and herbalism.
My boy has been having 4 weekly acupuncture since early last year for his chronic arthritis and the difference it makes is amazing. He's like a new boy, there are also other contributing factors such as diet, careful exercise plans, supplements (always checked with Ellen or his other vet at Apex) and of course regular reiki. He only has librella for pain relief. He was on loxicom but the more he had acupuncture the less he relied on it and now doesn't need it at all. On the very rare occasion he has a mild flare up I do some reiki and he's back to normal.
I am so happy that his reliance on pain relief and it's associated side effects is minimal thanks to regular complementary therapies.
Ask your vet to refer you to Ellen, I can claim through my insurance for acupuncture (with the usual excess and limits), but even if I couldn't I'd still book Ellen every 4 weeks as my boy is worth it!

I did some reiki for my boy yesterday. I started with some work at his lower back and neck, moved on to some calming chakra work and finished with more work at his lower back and back legs.
He was clearly nice and chilled by the end 💞
