We’ve only been open for just over 8 months and we couldn’t be more delighted to have already reached the milestone of having over 50 five star reviews across Google and Facebook. We’d like to thank all our wonderful clients who trust us to look after their cats and dogs while they’re away and especially those who have taken the time to write a review afterwards. We give all our guests lots of love and attention while they are with us, with dogs getting 4 walks a day in one of our secure paddocks. There they can run around and play or, if they prefer, they can walk around and enjoy lots of amazing smells. Here are some photos taken during the late evening walks, our floodlights lighting up the paddocks beautifully.

We hope that all our clients and followers are ok following yesterday’s very challenging conditions caused by storm Eowyn. We are very happy to report that there was no damage sustained at Burnside. Kerry and Steve who stay onsite kept our current guests safe and warm, and they were still able to walk the dogs four times as usual in our secure dog paddocks without any risk to their safety.

The whole team at Burnside would like to wish all our customers and their pets a very Happy Christmas. Thank you for putting your trust in us to look after your family members. For those cats and dogs who are boarding with us at this time the team are making their stay extra special, they all get a Christmas present from Santa, and whatever the weather the dogs get their four walks a day to enjoy the paddocks.

The team at Burnside had a very busy October, and we all want to say a huge thank you for trusting us to look after your wonderful cats and dogs while you go away. To have only been open for 5 months and to already have so many regular boarders is more than we dared to hope for, and we look forward to continuing to giving them a home away from home where they can relax and enjoy a holiday all of their own. Thanks again from Team Burnside.

As well as offering a wonderful boarding experience for dogs we also have great facilities and a team that loves looking after cats. The cattery at Burnside gives cats staying with us a safe homely environment and an ever changing entertaining view watching the local wildlife.

A huge part of being trusted to look after so many wonderful family pets each week is the wonderful team that we have at Burnside led by Kerry. The team spends time with the dogs and cats, getting to know them to ensure they relax and enjoy their holiday as much as possible. This involves treats, tummy rubs and cuddles, as appropriate.
