I’m seeking some help with yard duties
5 days week up to new year with scope to carry on into next year if all going really well.
Tasks include - Feeding, mucking out, grooming, tacking up horses for exercise - must be competent and confident leading young horses in and out of paddocks.
Riding and hacking out horses. Lessons from me included on your own horse and potential to bring your own horse for the right candidate. A opportunity to develop your skills on an exciting event yard. Work would be self-employed. Own transport essential as based on country estate in Cavers, Scottish Borders. As we approach fireworks season, please take a moment to consider the impact they can have, not only on animals but also on people. Horses, dogs, and other pets can become terrified by fireworks, and sadly, some of my clients experienced heartbreaking losses last year due to the extreme stress their animals went through 💔.

Fireworks can also deeply affect people with PTSD, anxiety, or sensory sensitivities, causing severe distress. Silent fireworks are a fantastic option now available, and we kindly ask you to consider choosing these for your celebrations.

If you are holding a fireworks display, please let those close by know in advance, so they can prepare with sedatives or other precautions. It would be much appreciated.

Let’s make this year safer and more compassionate for everyone—both animals and people. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
