Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day! Today we are
celebrating all our black feline friends - but how
good is your black cat knowledge?
Make sure to show us how your black cats are
celebrating their day in the comments below.
National “Spoil Your Dog Day” is celebrated on the
10th of August every year, and is a day entirely
dedicated to spoiling our four-legged companions
like never before. Comment below with a photo of
your furry friend!
We never want our patients to fear their visits to practice. We want positive experiences 😊
Here Vinny is showing us he was so distracted by our licky mat, he didn’t even flinch when Dr Sarah gave him his vaccination ❤️
We actually don’t think he noticed at all.
Well done Vinny!

Join our nurse Jenna’s lovely boy Rocca receiving diagnosis of an eye ulcer.
Can you see his ulcer when the vet uses the ophthalmoscope?
Ode to Veterinary Professionals
A thank you to all the vets, nurses and all those working in veterinary who dedicate their lives to animals.
It’s a dogs life! We were sent this video of our patient Cooper who really is having that Monday feeling. That’s some snore cooper 😴
Here is Mzi giving one of lovely patients a Hollywood smile. A scale and polish is an act of veterinary surgery and should only be carried out by your vet or veterinary nurse. They are important to maintain your pets oral hygiene. #PetDentalHealthMonth
First review of one of our new toys courtesy of Mickey.
He gives the humming bird cat toy 5 stars ✨
Toys are great enrichment for your pets. They are not only fun but help them to express their natural behaviours. They can also aid in bonding with your pet, helping them exercise and even loose weight if needed. ❤️
Orla and Otto were in today for a vet check on their eyes. They got a bit distracted with Dr. Sarah, but they definitely don’t need any glasses! 🤓
Cats can suffer from a range of eye disorders from young to old. Here we were checking to see if they had any eye ulcers causing inflammation and can potentially cause infection. As cats age, it can become important to look at the back of the eye (the retina) as it can indicate changes in blood pressure. 👁️
If you have any questions about your pets’ eyes, please contact our lovely reception team for an appointment! 👓
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a worldwide health threat
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a worldwide health threat, as bacteria are becoming
resistant to many antibiotics we use.
Throughout November we are holding an antibiotic amnesty
where we are asking our clients to return any
unused antibiotic medications for safe disposal.
Hammy the Hamster 🐹
We love all our patients, big and small.
And few are as small as sweet little Hammy who visited us last week.
He was quite content during his visit and enjoyed being admired by the team. So much so he spend some time preening himself to look his best. 💕
