This boisterous lady is Bailey 😍.
She visited our nurse Victoria for her weight check for flea and worming treatment.
As you can see Bailey didn't sit still for a photo but we couldn't resist this one as Bailey is such a happy girl who loves to meet everyone 🥰🥰.

Found Dog Cumbernauld

This little sweetheart is Rosie 😍.
She is a 3 month old Labrador.
When Rosie visited our vet Hannah for her puppy vaccinations, Hannah noticed a problem with her lower canine teeth.
The condition is known as lingual displaced mandibular canines, and occurs when the lower teeth are not growing at the correct angle causing trauma to the hard palate.
This can lead to pain and prevents the adult teeth from emerging properly 😔.
Hannah recommended Rosie's temporary teeth were carefully extracted to allow space for her permanent canines to erupt correctly.
Our vet Rachel performed Rosie's oral surgery after first taking xrays of her lower jaw.
The xrays show both of Rosie's temporary teeth and her unerupted adult teeth which are still developing below the gums.
Removing temporary teeth requires a lot of time and patience as they are very long and have fragile roots which can easily snap.
It has been likened to trying to remove an egg from a block of concrete without breaking the shell 😦!
We are pleased to say Rosie's surgery was a success and hopefully her adult teeth will now grow through without any problems 🥰.
