Fareham Pets is always on hand to help you select the food for your dog, cats or small animal or help to fit a harness for your dog. Every dog is different and whilst we offer help and guidance with food and treat choices sometimes your dog may surprise you and consume their treat quicker than you’d like, we base our answers on our experience and how quickly our own dogs eat. We stock a huge range

We are recruiting!​​​​​​

We are family run independent Pet Shop and looking for a new member of staff to join our team. Duties will include; accepting deliveries at our goods inwards, checking stock in, pricing, filling shelves/freezers, helping customers with their queries, and assisting them to their vehicles if requested and it is essential that you are confident and able to operate our till.

This is a physical job; due to the nature of the products we sell you must be able to lift boxes/products up to 20kg (there is lifting required on every shift).

The ideal person must be punctual and be able to work unsupervised once trained and be passionate about animals, in particular dogs and cats and have experience working in a retail environment.

It is a part time permanent position on a shift rota, the role includes working weekends, currently every other Saturday.

We provide our employees with Fareham Pets embroidered tshirt which must be worn on every shift plus a hoodie.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Starting at £11.75 per hour

Benefits

Schedule
• 20 hrs per week to be worked over 5 hour shifts (usually over 4 days on a rota)

• Over time as required

Experience
