Poppy 🌺

Since Poppy’s been spayed her coat has gone wild!
Her owners have chosen to have her clipped off to keep her cooler in the heat and to control her wild fur 🤣🐾

The importance of keeping your dogs nails short and not letting them over grow; as you can see from the photo above, these nails have been left to grow too long.

Pain and pressure: Long nails can cause pain and pressure on your dog’s toes and paws, which can lead to strain on their legs.

Infections: If a nail splits or grows into the pad or surrounding tissue, it can become infected.

Mobility issues: Untrimmed nails can cause decreased traction and affect your dog’s mobility.

Arthritis: Untreated or overgrown nails can hide other underlying diseases such as arthritis.

Body posture: Short nails can help your dog maintain better body posture.
