Did you know dogs have a different ph to humans?⁠

A humans ph is around 5.0 to 5.5 where as dogs have a more alkaline ph at 6.2 to 7.2. For this reason human shampoo shouldn't be used on dogs as it is designed for much more acidic skin. ⁠

We recommend using a high quality shampoo like ours obviously 😜 but for more reasons than one. Many human shampoo's also contain a surfactant called SLS which is very stripping and in some cases has been seen to cause discomfort to the dogs skin. ⁠

Just because you like the smell or its good for your hair, doesn't mean its going to be good for your dog. Invest in good quality skincare for your dog, just like you would for yourself.⁠
