Monty the Cocker Spaniel did a runner from his home at approx 10am today. He’s not been seen since, suspected to be around Charney/SITV/The Warren/Pusey area, but he could the anywhere at this point. There’s only been one suspected sighting around Charney a few hours ago.

He’s an affectionate boy but likely won’t come when called, if he does, be quick with a lead!

His collar has his parent’s phone number on, alternatively Call me on 07766314120

Every year the rawhides come out and people who don't understand, buy them for their beloved dogs.
Just don't.

We strive to provide the best for our furry friends, but sometimes what seems like a harmless treat can hide potential dangers. There have been documented cases of dogs with pieces of rawhide lodged in their windpipe, stomach, or intestines, creating choking hazards and an intestinal blockage, gastrointestinal distress, such as vomiting or diarrhea, can occur if rawhide irritates the digestive tract . Since rawhide is a byproduct of leather, some items pose a significant challenge to a dog’s digestive system when it comes to breaking down.

During the manufacturing process, rawhide is often soaked in a cocktail of chemicals to preserve it and enhance its flavor. These chemicals can include formaldehyde or chromium salts, hydrogen peroxide and bleach, which may pose risks to adult dogs and young puppies alike.

Safer alternatives like completely digestible Himalayan yak chews, dehydrated sweet potato chews, or any of the all meat jerky treats would be much better than rawhide.

Remy was one of the first few to join the Bec and Call team in July 2022, just 3 months after I had opened, and was the very first to join me for regular walks every week.

But we had to say our goodbyes last week so he could embark on some new adventures in a new city and it’s safe to say I feel like I’ve lost my best mate. He’s been the face of many adventures, has helped me introduce new dogs and set up small group walks, has offered me endless laughter and has taught me so much along the way. I miss him more than I can say and it’s only been a few days!

As a dog walker, all the dogs I walk become my extended family and my best friends. They go through the highs and lows of life by my side, hear all my wacky stories, are there to give me so much love and unparalleled friendship and show me the pure joys of exploring the countryside! When our relationship comes to an end, for whatever reason, it always feels like I’ve lost a little part of me!

Many tears have been shed over losing this boy to a new city, but I hope him and his family settle in SO well. Thank you so much to Remy’s lovely family for supporting me over the last couple of years and I, and all of Remy’s friends, hope all goes well for you guys in your big move 🥰❤️ enjoy your new sniffs, adventures and friends Remy, thanks for everything bud 🐶❤️
