Cats Protection League advice:
All pet cats in England must be microchipped by 10 June 2024. The new rules means that cats must be microchipped before they reach the age of 20 weeks, except for unowned cats like feral and community cats. Indoor-only cats must be microchipped as well. As part of the new rules, you must keep your contact details up to date on a Defra-approved microchipping database.

If you miss the June deadline, the new law states you'll have 21 days to have your cat microchipped, or you may face a fine of up to £500. The microchipping law is only being introduced in England at the current time, but we will continue to campaign for this same approach to be introduced in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. You can find out more about our campaign work here. We recommend you get your cat microchipped wherever you live.

I had to board my 2 cats very unexpectedly due to a family emergency. This is the second time I have boarded them here. All of the staff were so helpful and when I finally got to collect them 9 weeks later the cats were so happy and healthy. Since getting my cats they have boarded at 3 different cateries. Court Cattery gets a huge 5* plus rating from me I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you everyone for your fantastic care.
