We have had a client leave their phone at our Sandhurst practice today but we have no idea at what time this was and if they had been in for a consult as it was found on the reception desk. Access Update - light controlled at Cove Rd/Southwood Rd roundabout but now access both ways along Cove road. Coming off Westheath roundabout (under bridge) towards us is closed.

Prev - Currently access to us is via the cove one-way system. Cove road is closed coming towards us (past the doctors) but you can return along it back to Southwood Road

FOUND - 3yr male black/tan German Shepherd Dog has been brought to us this morning after being found in Cove, Farnborough.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t have collar i/d and his microchip details are not up to date so if you are missing your big boy, please contact us with his photo i/d.

FOUND - A tortoise has been brought to us having been found wandering along a pathway in Farnborough. He/she could have escaped someone’s garden during this sunny weather so if you are missing your pal please contact us, with a photo for identification ideally.

FOUND - An un-neutered male, black and white, young adult cat was brought in to us on Saturday after being found in Farnborough. He is very sweet but is sadly not microchipped - if you are missing your lovely boy please provide photo for identification purposes.

These gorgeous German Shepherd pups came in yesterday for vaccines and microchips 😍Mum was white believe it or not! The were so well behaved and we couldn't help but take a few pictures I think there are still a few needing loving homes 🥰😜.

We have had a stray black & white kitten presented to our Cove practice who is around 3 months old. He doesn’t have a microchip or a collar. He was found around Water Lane, Farnborough. Photos will be needed for proof of ownership. Please contact Cove on 01252 542121 if you believe he is yours. Xx

Introducing the lovely Odin and Cinnamon, who visited a few weeks ago to see Agata. Odin, the larger bearded dragon, is father to Cinnamon 😍 Agata is now back with us every Monday working between all 3 sites and is purely our exotics vet only. This gorgeous pair seemed very happy to visit and enjoyed being the centre of attention for some photographs.🤩

Ashworth Vets Dog show was a huge success yesterday despite the wind and rain. Unfortunately we lost both our gazebo's first thing during set up so we didn't have much in the way of cover, through the day but doggy dip was as fun as ever and our chocolate raffle was also very popular. Due to the weather and staff on the day, we have limited photos so if you have pictures of your rosette placed dogs, we would love you to share them on here. 😍🤩🥳

A huge thank you to our staff & family members and of course to Fleet & District Carnival for another amazing Carnival yesterday. Despite the wind and rain, our staff dressed up as part of the Jungle theme with 'Jungle Cruise'. We had an orangatan, sloth, tiger, flowers, crocodile, explorers, tree frogs, piranha's an actual boat!, bamboo trees and a dragon fly. As always we had a great time and seeing everyone's faces as we walk down Fleet high street is amazing. Lets hope we managed to get lots of money in our Carnival buckets for this years charity.

Only 1 sleep to go and Ashworth Vets will be fully dressed up and embracing the jungle theme for this years procession! As a result of us all taking part in the Fleet & District Carnival we will be closing our Cove branch early on Saturday at 1pm. All emergencies will be directed to Farnham Veterinary Group after 1pm.
This is so that our wonderful vets can get onto Calthorpe field ready for the dog show too! Don't forget to wave and hope to see some our canine friends on the field during the afternoon. A huge thank you to The Artful Dog Studio for helping us with some of the prizes and Jewson's Farnborough for assisting us with the show rings this year. Hope to see you on Saturday! 🤩🥳😍

We have an unusual situation at our Cove practice and wondered if anyone is able help us. We have a young fox that we have, that needs to get to Wildlife Aid in Leatherhead this afternoon or by 8pm tonight. Unfortunately due to work load and staff numbers we are not able to get it there and wondered if there is anyone driving that way this afternoon that would be able to take it for us and help out. 🙏We appreciate this maybe a bit of an ask but we are just looking at all options to ensure we can give this fox the best chance. Fleet Carnival dog show was a hugely successful one last year and we raised lots of money for Fleet & District Carnival and The Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust . This year we will be raising money for Fleet Carnival and StreetVet so please come along to Carnival on 6th July. Stalls will be open from around 12pm with registration opening around 1.30pm. Bookings will be available via online booking from 1st June. Our long line of stall holders continues with Rocky and Piper’s Treats attending again this year so make sure you stop by. 🤩🥳😍

**Exotics vet at Ashworth Vets**
We are very excited to announce that from Monday 3rd June, Agata will be returning to Ashworth Vets every Monday as our exotics vet. 🤩
Agata graduated from University of Life Science in Lublin and moved to the United Kingdom to develop her clinical skills in the area of exotic and wildlife animal medicine, where she obtained postgraduate certificates and became RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine.
Agata made her first steps as a veterinarian volunteering in Wild Bird rehabilitation Center in Poland, Marine and Aquatic Bird Center in Italy and International Bird Rescue Research Center in the United States.
Over the last few years, she was helping her exotic patients working in first opinion practices in Kent, followed by clinical work in exotic referral centre and finally became an independent practitioner settled in Hampshire.
She was always passionate about animals and fascinated in the avian world, so it is not uncommon to see her birdwatching with a pair of binoculars.
Agata will see any exotic pet and will be working every Monday from 9-6.30pm. Appointments are available by calling any of our branch surgeries but you will need to registered with us. She will be moving between branches each week to ensure access for all of our clients. Welcome back Agata 🤩🥳😍

Fleet Carnival is 6th July and we are proudly organising the Dog show again this year. Our famous doggy dip will be back and it is always super popular! Our stall holder list continues with Pupcakes and Bakes returning to help provide prizes for our winners! We are just all praying for some good weather again 🙏Make sure you watch out for the class list that will be available from 1st June. We will be encouraging most classes to be booked online and save a few for on the day.

Wishing everyone a wonderful, relaxing long bank holiday weekend. Our Cove surgery will be open for emergencies on Monday 27th May from 10-11.30am if you need us during these hours. Please call Farnham Vet Hospital on 01252 750329 outside these hours if you need any veterinary care.
Cove is open until 3pm Saturday 25th May.
All branches are closed on Sunday 26th.

The lovely Winnie came in to Cove on Wednesday to be spayed and was looked after by our Head Nurse Phili. Winnie is a Sphinx cat and swapped out her lovely knitted coat for a medical pet shirt, after her op. What a gorgeous girl and she definitely enjoyed those chin rubs whilst with us ❤️

Our branch teams have been hard at work today dealing with the usual routine and urgent cases before we close tomorrow at 1pm for the festive period, however the Cove team have managed to sneak in a little playtime with some Christmas tree hoopla with Amy, Phili, Chloe & Hattie 😍

We had the pleasure of a visit from Banjo today and he was entertaining us all from beginning to the end of his visit. He said hello as he came in and then laughed when we laughed. Such a gorgeous boy and great for his wing clip too.

Fleet Extension updates! Please be aware that this is the final day that the Fleet cabin is open before transition into the new building. As a result, Fleet will be CLOSED with no access to any services or products Tuesday 31st May & Wednesday 1st June. All collections, phone calls, orders and appointments will need to be booked through our Cove or Sandhurst surgeries. We will not be able to assist with any queries due to phones and computers being moved over. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but be reassure that from Monday 6th June the practice will be up and running again in the main building. Thank you in advance and we cannot wait to show off how the building has been transformed 🥰

Don't forget it is Dental month at Ashworth's and we have been focusing on how to keep your pets teeth clean. Our lovely vet Sigrid, has demonstrated how she brushes her dogs teeth and she has even put together a video too. Norman loves having his teeth brushed and its part of his daily ritual now. 🥰
