Walking an ‘anxious and reactive’ little pooch can be hard, but he deserves to have a lovely walk like any other dog.
We stick to the quieter places and try to keep his triggers ‘other dogs’ at a distance. But sometimes a trigger appears and wow it’s like a different dog! But he’s just trying to keep himself ‘safe’ he wants the other dog to go away.
What I find interesting is that he loves playing around other dogs at his doggy day care and off lead with then he is great.
Please remember if you see a dog wearing yellow they just need some space, keep your dog on their lead whilst you pass and the judgy looks directed at the owner aren’t needed.
Our gorgeous boy is very loved, we work super hard every day with him but like many humans he has his struggles. We didn’t do anything wrong, mistreat him or ask for this. But he is who he is and we love him.
