Last few days. We are slowly winding down for our short trip to Devon, we are almost ready to go! We have had some varied walks in the last few days, the weather is cooler which is great for the pups ❤️.

WHO WILL JOIN OUR DINKY DOGS DAYCARE CREW?
I have a flexible space for 1-2 days per week.

You may think there are the same dogs in a lot of the photos 👀, and you are correct! We are a very small home-based business with only 10-12 customers registered at any time. This means that our day care dogs get to know each other really well and become great friends.

Holiday boarding is also offered with this day care space, subject to availability so it is recommended that you book early 🏖️.

Out at the golf course, and later on in the woods. You would think that I put them on that bench, but I didn’t! My guys are trained in ‘up up’, but guests catch on really fast when the treats are being handed out 😂. A dull afternoon resulted in ‘Patterkillar’ being used a a tug toy, and he is a bit thinner now for having his stuffing thrown all over the conservatory 😂.

Not as warm today but still warm enough to sit in the living room this afternoon rather than the day care room. There were some disagreements about the landing strategy in Elite Dangerous, and a discussion over why it’s called a ‘friendship drive’ whilst munching on frozen broccoli 😂. I wish I had time for gaming, and I don’t think this classes as enrichment girls! 🤣

Don’t laugh, these photos are terrible! 😆. We walked really early and in the shady woods, but it was so shady that the camera struggled to focus and the pics are poor 😂. Still, the guys were cool 😎.

Walkies today and then some enrichment activities and snacks in between. Down time included catching up with the Olympics results. No show jumping though, several dogs insisted that there be no animals on the screen… and even canoes were looked at suspiciously 😂.

We tried walking somewhere different today as the roundabout to the park road is closed 😫. A slow walk but lots of sniffs. It’s so much better now it’s cooler. We can think about getting out the agility kit in these temperatures. Later this week 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🐾.

It’s cooler today but we still kept walks short, one this morning and another this evening. It’s much better now. Entertainment has included ostrich bones and yakers bars 😬🦴🐾.

There are not many photos from the last few days as the heat has kept us cool, calm and inside. With the curtains closed it is dark, and the photos were quite blurred. Only I am interested in the olympics, the dogs are nonplussed even though I said they could choose an event from the red button 😄. Here is a few that I grabbed as we took our (very early) morning walks. 🙂

Another changeover day! Settling in, a bit of sun bathing, and last day of the airshow. We watched out for planes on the afternoon walk but it was very cloudy so we barely saw a thing. ☁️✈️🌥️🛩️⛅️🚁

This weather! Indoor games super fast walks in the drizzle, making the best of the day ☺️. After some indoor activities everyone took a snooze, and waited for the rain to clear. It’s a hokey cokey day (one in, one out 🤣) but we will see little miss back for day care next week so we won’t be without her for long ❤️.

I have a flexi space coming up for day care! We hope that our new guest will join us once a week for fun, games, walks and naps.

We are a very small home run business with only 12 clients, so our guests get to see the same friends regularly.

🐶 Dogs must be 5 months or older, and fully vaccinated (including kennel cough)

🐶 Flexi = spaces are not guaranteed to be available on the same day every week

🐶 Dogs get 2 walks per day (or alternative activities in bad weather)

🐶 Licensed with Rushmoor Council (5 star) and fully insured

🐶 Only our day care clients are invited to holiday board with us

Fun in the fields and on lead shady exploration. It is great that my guests get along so well, it means that we can help out in an emergency at the drop of a hat, and no one needs to worry about who is visiting. We are so very lucky to have a wonderful group of guests!

A 7:30am walk for us with lots of shady sections. Some of my dogs are senior (7 yrs+) and they feel the heat far more quickly so we take absolutely no chances. With no one interested in playing in water (SO many of my guests dislike water 😂) we were back home and done with outside activities by 9am.

Whilst no one likes water, we had another fox p**p rolling incident today which means that like it or not, it’s a bath when we get home! 😷🤢🦊💩🛁😝

We stopped for lots of snacks today as we took a new route and had to wait while other dogs passed us. We didn’t like the midgies though 🦟! People like to stop and chat with us, but the weather said rain in the middle of the day so we didn’t hang around for too long. We were already pretty wet from the long grass, but exploring is different to rain, it’s more fun ☺️🌦️

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Cousin Ted today, who passed away last night. Stan and Gracie will be waiting for him. We will miss you so much, you beautiful boy. Sleep well my lovely until we all meet again. 💔💔💔

Lovely shady walks and some sun bathing. We had a pollen wipe down when we got home as we had some runny eyes, we are all good now and pollen free. Vinnie collects pollen in his ears, like big scoops 😂. 🩷🩷
