Train in rather the indoor or outdoor arena (which has an incredible music 🎵 system, full length mirrors, Attaches/Judges box, flowers & flags simulating an international arena)

Join the brilliant Dressage with Levi Hunt, superb BD Coach and International GP rider, Hannah Gadsden or Liz McGoun from Rider Focus Physiotherapy - Physio to the elite riders/ rider focused Osteopath (acupuncturist, appi reformer pilates instructor and saddler) & Katie Powell, Owner of Nodwood House Equine & BD Coach.

The day camps will include:
💥1:1 45-minute coaching session with Levi
💥Ridden-rider review by Hannah/Liz
💥30-minute rider physio session
💥Treatment for your horse, choose from salt room, combi floor & weighbridge, or PEMF massage rug
💥Lunch & refreshments
💥Second ridden session choose from 1 x 30-minute session with Levi or 20 - minute warm-up with Katie, followed by a test & retest with Levi - choice of any test (including freestyle)

Train with Katie at Nodwood. Nodwood House Equine is Katie's home & base. Built with the upmost attention to detail the facilities are superb. Choose from the indoor 20 x 40m arena with mirrors and viewing gallery or the outdoor 40 x 60m. The outdoor is set to the long dressage test along with training mirrors, Judges/Attaché box, flowers, planters, flags, an incredible music system and terraced seating. Katie coaches Dressage & Test Riding (including planning & goal setting) but also coaches Lunging, Long Lining, Stable & Business Management, Rehabilitation Education, Pole Clinics, Show Jumping & Cross Country.

Katie started riding at the age of 4 and has ridden and owned horses all of her life. Katie enjoys coaching both senior & youth riders and all levels of horse & rider combinations.

Katie spent many years working in senior and Board Level roles in FTSE companies, which has helped her form a very solid business base. Katie made the switch to being a full time equestrian where she also spent time retraining in Rehabilitation, British Horse Society and British Dressage qualifications.

Katie’s approach to coaching is that of it being rider led, classical technical training. She likes to work in partnership with those she coaches and have a goal that is being worked towards. Katie makes her sessions fun, engaging and has a confident giving approach. Katie strives to get the best out of the horse & rider combination.

Surgery & Rehab update.

On November 14th 2024 Q underwent pioneering neck surgery.

Today was a major milestone in his post operation rehabilitation with a review with his very talented Surgeon Rachel Tucker from The Liphook Equine Hospital, his advising Vet Lucy Cheetham from Equivet Mobile Horse Veterinary Services, his Physio Jenny Wilson from Bridgefield Physios and his owner, rider & rehabilitation specialist Katie Powell from Nodwood House Equine.

Q was assessed in hand looking at his range of motion through stretches and palpation and also a ridden assessment under saddle.

We are pleased to report that Q has made fantastic progress and the whole team are excited by the improvements.

Case studies, before & after images & new photos are being put together as we know there is a lot of interest in hearing more about this fascinating case. Watch this space 😀
