Love this little group. Winnie the Mini Schnauzer and Elsa the older lab were super patient with playful pup Bailey. They played and established boundaries and the three girls have great recall so he can follow their lead. Bailey doing awesomely with his recall and Mabel feeling braver and trusting me enough to recall consistently so no more long line. She’s only been walking with me for a few weeks now. Beautiful Tiggy came to visit for her first groom. We had a lot of fun, introduced equipment and experiences and gave her a wash. When the dryer was too much we called it a day and had a bit more play. There’s no point in pushing puppies beyond what they can cope with as it just creates a negative association with grooming. Bring your pup in before they ‘need’ a groom, to get then used to it. Adorable Ruby had her first clip today. She’s been before for puppy grooms and as such she breezed it today ⭐️⭐️. She was happy and calm throughout - even on her legs and paws!
