Rusty is a 2 year old Vizla who I met today for some handling work. He gets very worried at the vets and if his owner tries to trim his nails so we will be working on building his confidence in those areas and creating a strong relationship between him & his owner built on trust and understanding .Thankyou for recommending us

💥ECOLLARS💥 are cruel (or are they?)

💥 ECOLLARS💥 Don’t punish my deaf dog. My beautiful, deaf , boy Jeffie. He was born deaf so alongside the usual training we ecollar trained him so he could lead a fullfilled life being able to get off lead where and when appropriate . He isnt being punished by an ecollar but he would be punished if it was banned as although he is very responsive and checks in regularly just like any dog there are times when his prey drive kicks in and he sees a squirrel, picks up a scent that would endanger him or others, in these situations I can not use my voice to recall but like with my hearing dog but I can use my ecollar to reach out and tap him on the neck to remind him to check back with me. In this video you will see me do this multiple times. Not once is it a negative experience for him or a punishment, his body language remains the same and most importantly he is allowed to continue to be a dog. And is not frustrated at always being on lead. The below organisations say death is better than using an ecollar 🤷‍♀️ Why do you want to punish my dog dog Dogs Trust@kennelclub (they blocked me because I’m cruel apparently ) Rspca ?
