Great news- I have moved into my new premises🎉😁

You can know find me at unit 10 Kiln workshops, Pilcot road, Crookham village, GU51 5RY. I’m in the brick part of the building. First door on the left.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who helped me moved and get the place set you. Also to all my lovely customers that help me in my search for a place, all the suggestions and forwarding of my posts. It took a while but I think I’ve found the best place.

Hi everyone, as most of you know by now I’m looking for a new premises due to redevelopment of the my current site. I have had no luck looking on commercial listing sites so I thought I’d reach out to my followers to see if anyone had any knowledge of places available.

I’d like to stay as local as possible for my clients. I only require a small space (190sq/ft currently) but I do need water/drainage and electric. I work on one customer at a time so not lots of dogs running around.

An alternative I have come across is a ready made pod (like a garden shed/summer house) which is all fitted out for grooming but I would need a space to put it. They connect to a garden hose but would need to be hard wired in electrically.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to make you all aware, as of next Monday 2nd of August, if you are coming to the parlour from Church Crookham you will need to follow the diversion signs as Redfields lane and Bowling Alley lane will be closed. You should be able to enter Bowling Alley lane at the opposite end near the M&S garage.

Hi everyone, I wanted to keep you all informed about the updated guidelines that have been released for dog groomers- “Groomers may accept a dog to be groomed by appointment where this is necessary for the animal’s welfare and not simply for aesthetic reasons. Welfare reasons could include on veterinary advice for a skin condition or excessive matting causing the pet discomfort. When routine grooming can be delayed without affecting the pet’s welfare until the national lockdown is eased it should be put off.”

The government guidelines have been updated and now state that a dog can be groomed if it is considered essential for their welfare. Please see https://www.cfsg.org.uk/coronavirus

I have again, discussed this with the Hart Council Environmental Health, and they agree I may stay open to customers who believe it is best for their dogs welfare to be groomed.

The decision will be on you, as an owner to make, as to whether you deem in essential for your dog to be groomed.

My Covid procedures will mostly remain the same as they have been since the last lockdown, but please ensure you know what they are to keep everyone safe.

I will be contacting everyone individually to confirm they have understood everything and whether they deem their appointment necessary.

Hi everyone, i have heard back from the council today and I will have to shut the parlour😢 Unfortunately they have said dog grooming is not an essential business, and you bringing your dogs to me is not essential travel. I’m very sorry to have to do this, but I need to follow the government guidelines. I will try to fit everyone in as soon as possible once i am allowed to open again. I hope you all stay safe and well🐶

Hi everyone, in light of yesterday’s news I thought I should put a quick message out to keep you informed. The guidelines are very unclear but I’m hoping to stay open. I have contacted hart district council for their advice. I’m working on the assumption I can stay open until they reply and say differently. I shall keep you informed of any changes as soon as I know. Unless you hear otherwise your appointments will go ahead as normal 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hello everyone, I just wanted to announce that my prices will be increasing from the 1st September 2020. I have managed to avoid making any increases for 3 years, and sadly I can no longer avoid it due to many increases in running costs. Prices will be increased by £5 to my current rates.
