We would like to wish all our lovely clients and pets a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Please note our Clinic will close from 17:30 on the 22nd December and re-open on Tuesday 3rd January 24 at 14:00. Should you need to collect any meds or make an appointment, our Shortheath Surgery will be open other than the Christmas/Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Tuesday - 2.00-5.30pm
Wednesday - 9.00am-12.30pm/2.00pm-5.30pm
Thursday - 9.00am-12.30pm/2.00pm-5.30pm
Friday - 9.00am-12.30pm/2.00pm-5.30pm
Saturday - CLOSED
Sunday - CLOSED

We have had a long haired, black and white, female cat brought into us. Microchipped but owner details not up to date. She is absolutely fine but we are keen to find her owner. Please call us on 01252 891659. Proof of ownership will be required 🐾

Please be aware that the Clinic will be closed on Monday 24th July. Normal hours will be resumed on Tuesday 25th. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but please be assured that our Shortheath Veterinary Surgery - Waverley Vets will be open should you need to see a vet or collect medication. Our phones will be diverted to them so we don’t miss you if you call.

No dogs have died from not having a walk but dogs have died from one walk in the heat - Don’t take the risk!

Take them for a walk early morning or evening when it’s cool 😎

Unfortunately, due to staff sickness, we are unable to open The Bourne Clinic on Thursday and Friday. This will enable us fully staff our Shortheath Surgery and deal with any emergencies as needed Anyone expecting to collect medications from Bourne can collect from Shortheath. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

*** UPDATE: Owner found! ***

This brown unneutered male dog followed my husband the whole way round his run in Bourne woods this morning at 530am no one else anywhere to be seen so he brought him home to Seale as started to follow car out onto road. Have tried to call number on collar but number out if use. Please could anyone who is on any local Bourne what's app groups or social media share picture and my number? Will contact local vets and council when open. Thanks Jenny Wilson 07810 434488

MISSING TORTOISE
A Horsefield Tortoise has been missing since November from Bourne Firs. Hopefully he has dug himself in somewhere to hibernate over the cold weather. The owner is hoping he may soon show himself now that it’s warming up. If anyone has seen or finds this little man please call 07813 655530.
