Happy Endings Rescue is home to a diverse collection of animals, set in around 60 acres of green land near Sevenoaks and in Faversham. Some are looking for new homes, while others are permanently in our care and will live the rest of their lives with us at the sanctuary.

Lovely Flo’s coat is growing back nicely.

Flo came into us via a local vets. She was suffering from a flea allergy and had lost a large amount of her coat as a result. Now she is on regular flea treatment her coat should grow back completely . Flo is a really lovely cat and we can’t wait to find her a home where she will be cared for properly. 💕

We are so busy with cat rescue and rehoming at the moment. The amount of cats in need of help is sadly never ending.

This means we are going through wet cat food super quickly.

Beautiful young cocker spaniel, Jessie 💕

Jesse was extremely underweight on arrival and had obviously recently had pups. Jessie is nervous on first meeting but with a slow quiet introduction she quickly warms to people. She is fast to attach herself to a person. She is super affectionate and loves to be by her persons side. Jessie is great with children and could live with a family with respectful kids. She is also fine with cats and other dogs.

Although Jessie is perfect all the time she is with you she struggles massively with being left. She gets very anxious and will go to great lengths to get to her person. We are hoping to find a special home for Jessie with adoptees who are prepared to put work into her separate anxiety.

We don’t know what Jessie has been through in her short life but we are determined to ensure that her future is bright.

Just look at Lady and her baby playing!!! 💕 Lady is only young herself but she has been a great mum to little Oliver, bless her. 🥰 Oliver was a sickly kitten and at points we worried he might not make it. We gave mum a helping hand by adding a few milk feeds in. He is doing brilliantly now and they have the most beautiful relationship. They will be looking for a home together. 🐈‍⬛

PLEASE SHARE 🙏 Our older girl Lady is still waiting for a home. Lady is 9yrs old. She loves to plod around and sniff EVERYTHING!!!. As you can see from the video she does love a cuddle from those who care for her!! 💕 Lady is very soft natured and laid back. We don’t know if she has lived with small children before and we never rehome to homes with very young children unless we are absolutely sure the dog is used to being around them. She has been non reactive towards the cats and really isn’t fussed by other dogs. She prefers to stay out of their way. Please consider Lady if you have no other pets and are looking for a companion. She has had a tough life and really deserves a loving home. [email protected]

Lovely Roo and her puppies enjoying a run! 🥰 Roo’s puppies are leaving us this weekend. Roo has been the most amazing mum to these little trouble makers but it’s definitely time!! We can then concentrate on getting to know Roo properly and carry out further assessments which will help us find the right home for her.

Bert update 💞 Hard to believe that Bert was at deaths door a few weeks ago. Watch him go now!!! 😍 Bert made such an impression at the vets and managed to charm one of the staff into offering him a home!!! He leaves us for his new life today! 😍

Hello! I’m chance 👋 🐾 I wanted to share with you an update of me whilst I’ve been in foster. I hadn’t had much interaction with humans until now, I’ve learned to love their company but sometimes I’m a little worried about them still. My foster family waited weeks until I sat on their lap, now I’ve discovered I LOVE a chin scratch so maybe I’ll keep going over. They have this thing called a house line attached to me, which I really like because we can be friends without having to touch me, pick me up or chase me around. I LOVE the company of them, I do zoomies sometimes and roll around the floor for fun and they laugh - I think that’s a good thing. We have been on lots of trips out to show me the world! I love watching the rabbits in pets at home! We have said hello to horses, sheep & other dogs. I’m happy to ignore them and just watch them go by. I always get told I’m such a good boy for walking on a lead nicely, and going past things that was scary before. Although nobody said anything when i jumped over a really high gate to get out of a room! Just that I’m like Houdini 🤷🏼‍♀️. That’s it for now, I will be back with another update soon! Chance 🐾 x

Frank says ‘fanks’!!! Frank the mastiff would like to extend a big, slobbery ‘fank you’ to those who have liked, shared and donated towards his recent veterinary visit. He had an operation to try and fix his cherry eye which it seems he has been suffering with for a while prior to coming to us, and although still recovering under the close supervision of the amazing Radu at Swale Barn Vets, he’s back to his usual goofy antics.
