It has officially been a year since I opened Take the Lead forest walks, when we decided that I was able to do this I was extremely excited but also massively apprehensive too, especially as there are so many awesome dog walking businesses in the area. But here I am a year later, smashing my own targets I set myself which I never thought would be possible, becoming licensed with the NFDC and building up a client base of not only amazing dogs but their wonderful owners too. But I couldn’t of done it without Lee and you guys! Thank you all so much for your support in following and sharing my page and a massive thank you to my amazing clients continued loyalty and trust in me! Each and every one of your pooches are extremely special to me, they really are such a fantastic team and I am so proud of them 😊❤️🐾
Happy New Year to all my amazing clients and followers, thank you for all your support and loyalty over these past 9 months ❤️ Opening a new business is a big risk but I’m so unbelievably happy that I did it ☺️ I cannot wait for all the new adventures and exciting things happening in 2023! The last few months have been very strange for Lenny, he lost his bestest friend that he had known since he was 8 weeks old, she was his security blanket, he would never go anywhere without her, everything she did he would do and he loved her so much! He’s found it hard adjusting to life without her, especially when we’re at home and he’s the only dog here, for a while he didn’t know what to do with himself. But thanks to all of my amazing clients, Lenny now has countless new best friends, although he still has anxiety we’ve also seen a side of him we’ve never seen before. You will see him on a fair amount of group walks with me, this is to help him with his confidence and he absolutely loves playing with all his friends every day! So thank you to you guys, my amazing clients for joining Take the Lead, as not only have you allowed me to do a job that I love, but your amazing pooches have helped Lenny in so many ways, he’s finally becoming a happy boy and that means the world to us ❤️

The aim of this was to try and get a nice majestic video of them jumping over the branch, but they both went under it instead 🤦🏼♀️😂
Love this 😍
Although walking your dog is amazing and needed, mental stimulation and using their senses on walks can also be extremely beneficial, especially for dogs with high amounts of energy! This can be a simple game of hide and seek or hiding some treats and getting them to find them. Here we were hiding treats in the forest, asking the dogs to ‘find it’ - Lenny didn’t get a look in but he tried 😂
