The Hounslow Urban Farm, as of the 10th of March 2012 will be re-opening under the management of the Tropical Zoo. Whilst the building of the brand new Tropical Zoo is taking place, over the coming months we will be working incredibly hard to improve the farm which it self is already popular attraction within the borough. Hounslow Urban Farm is one of London's largest community farms and is curren

tly home to a wide selection of domestic and in the spirit of the Tropical Zoo some slighty more exotic animals too. Some of which include pigs, goats, sheep, ponies, alpaca and poulty. We are a completely self run organisation without any financial support so completely depend on the money we make on entry fees, school trips, visits and birthday parties! Around 90% (if not more) of the animals we care for here a rescued animals from previous homes! You can now purchase animal feed for £1.00 a bag to feed the goats, sheep and alpaca. Adults £7.50

We hope everyone had a wonderful winter break and a happy new year! The Hounslow Urban Farm team are still holding onto the Christmas holidays while they last. However, it's hard to believe we only have 2 days until most of the little ones are back to school!

With one weekend left, why not do something fun? Join us at the farm for our exciting exotic encounters at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm. Or watch our Ozzie fly during the 1:30pm owl encounter.

What else might you expect to see?

NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Stay posted for next year when we will hopefully bring it back. Interested in bottle feeding? Spring is the season for rejuvenation and new beginnings… and baby animals. At Hounslow Urban Farm, we will be expecting many young animals in the upcoming months. However, the first arrivals are already here! Our 4 baby cows (calves) are settling into their new home and are mooing happily, eager to meet new people. Like all baby animals, our calves need milk in the first few months of life so that they grow big and strong. This year we are hoping to offer an udderly fantastic animal experience where people can bottle feed our calves. The experience is £10 per person (£15 if you would like admission included). This experience is suitable for anyone from the ages of 3 years old and above. Anyone between 3-15 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult. (Bottle feeding tickets do NOT include admission to the farm. Admission tickets would need to be purchased if you planned to stay for the day and join our daily animal encounters). The experience will be taking place twice daily between 11/03/24 and 07/04/24 (there is a possibility these dates may change). Each day will have two time slots where you can bottle feed the calves. These timeslots will be at 10am and 5pm. Each timeslot can have up to 4 people per session. If you would like to take part in our calf bottle feeding experience, please WhatsApp message the following number- 07706 590 953 with the following information: - Participants name(s) - Number of spaces you would like to book - Date of interest - Any additional requirements/information Once we have received this information, we will send over our terms and conditions, as well as payment information. Please bare in mind that payment will need to be paid in full at least 24 hours prior to the Bottle feeding session. Your session will be confirmed via text once proof of payment has been sent and our T&Cs have been agreed.
