Lambing season is here, so take extra care walking your dog in the countryside. 🐑

Sheep and their lambs scare easily, and even the friendliest dog can cause distress. Keep them on a lead
near livestock, and stick to footpaths. It’s a simple way to protect wildlife and keep your dog out of trouble.

FOR OUR CLIENTS INFORMATION

Updated info is that the road will be closed from the double roundabout at Longham

Temporary Northbound Closure of Ringwood Road, Ferndown

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Ringwood Road, Ferndown northbound between Glenmoor Road and Church Road as indicated by signage on site.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.

It will come into operation on 30th March 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2nd May 2025.

Access northbound will be maintained from Longham Double Mini Roundabout to the junction with Glenmoor Road only.

This Order will enable Southern Gas Network to carry out gas main replacement works.

The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: B3073 Ham Lane - A31 - Ringwood Road.

For further information about the work being undertaken and access arrangements, call SGN on 0800 975 1818. To discuss this Order, contact Dorset Council on 01305 221020 or use our website www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/roadworks/enquiries
