Sires on the scoreboard in Irish points this weekend, with DRAGON DANCERS grand servant Er Dancer winning for the 9th time and the KINGSTON HILL 6yr old debutant Spring Serenade winning by ten lengths !

Not a winner but the DRAGON DANCER sired Intosomethinggood was 3rd in the LISTED bumper at Cheltenham today, gaining some valuable black type for himself and his dam Hazy Manor. He was sold as a store at Fairyhouse in May. It was interesting looking at the pedigree of the 4th horse in the same race today as he was actually out of a mare that was herself a half sister to non other than Dragon Dancer!

Pearly Island won the feature race at Fakenham earlier today. Reverting to hurdles , this homebred son of the late Trans Island galloped to the line in testing conditions. He was sold as a foal and we have his half brother, a very nice 3yo gelding by Pethers Moon, still with us.

Homebred Caeruleum won impressively again this afternoon, this time at Taunton. The son of Millenary, who hails from the family of Denman, jumped great and looks a strong stayer.

A rather frustrating day of hitting the woodwork so it was nice that the KINGSTON HILL sired Kingston Queen found the back of the net in the bumper at Sedgefield. Other results included;

Foster’s Fortune(CANNOCK CHASE)2nd by 3/4L
Wendywilldo(DRAGON DANCER) 2nd by a neck
Double Dragon(DRAGON DANCER) 2nd by 1 1/4L
King Arise(KINGSTON HILL) 2nd by a neck

Dear dot in the paddock this afternoon after finishing 4th in the maiden at Alnwick earlier. She jumped great and finished well. Hopefully plenty of fun to be had with her.

Anna is training the pointers this year and they are all looking really well. We’ve many at different stages but we hopefully run Dear Dot at Alnwick on Sunday . Shes not the biggest but has schooled well for Anna. She is following up Attention All and Tom Story.

The latest KINGSTON HILL sired winner this afternoon at Hexham was Tommy Combats who won the handicap chase, getting on top close home. A huge horse who looks as though he has needed time but another by the sire who looks to stay well and tough it out when it matters most.

Another win for homebred Caeruleum as he was again impressive at Taunton earlier today. This son of Millenary is a lovely stamp. His pedigree goes back to that of none other than Denman like him he looks a strong stayer.
