Looking for a new 🏡 on behalf of an owner. Songbirds Tale, winning 10yo tb mare by Sulamani. Lovely stamp and confirmation (won the filly foal class of her year at Doncaster ⛵️’s). Had a c**t foal by Kingston Hill (pictured) last year which has recently been weaned and retained. sure to breed winners or lovely sports horses.
We just have too many to take her!
Can be a little grumpy in the stable and Has been seen to weave.
Could be covered by one of our stallions here if someone wanted at discounted rate. Kingston hill, dragon dancer, Cannock Chase, wells Farrh go.

Mix the Music (Gemix ex. Queen of the Blues) also made her debut today in the point to point bumper finishing 2nd to another well regarded mare. Anna and the team have worked hard with a yard full of babies this season so it is nice to start running a few and seeing their hard work come to fruition.

Coincidentally the mare that won the bumper Royal Mags is out of Royal Present who we now own. Royal present is a half sister to village vic and royal village and is in foal to Kingston Hill. She will visit Dragon Dancer after foaling this spring if all goes to plan.

Take a Glance (Telescope ex.Lucky Glance) ran a lovely race on debut to finish 4th in the 2m4 maiden at Alnwick. Well trained by Anna she looked a picture and won best turned out aswell.

Fantastic to see this lad win his graded race today for his connections. He was foaled, raised and broken in with us. Jon his owner has a lovely 2yo filly by logician still with us. Hopefully she can one day emulate her older half brother.

It has been a brilliant day for the yard with Battle Born Lad storming to victory in the Grade 2 Hurdle at Haydock Park. He is ridden every day at home by Marcus who has done a fantastic job with him. We are delighted for his owners particularly Jon Saxby who also bred him. The whole team will be celebrating this first Grade 2 win and look forward to his future!

NUNSTAINTON TRANSFER NEWS

Unfortunately Falco, who has stud with us for the past two seasons was purchased by overseas buyers and has moved on to Turkey.

With room for another squad member we have recently agreed to stand WELLS FARRH GO for the 2025 stud season.

A big fine upstanding horse he was unbeaten at 2yo, including winning the Gr.3 Acomb Stakes, beating James Garfield.

At 3 he won the Gr.3 Bahrain Trophy Stakes at Newmarket , and also won the Listed Randox Fred Archer Stakes.

He has been heavily supported to date by Tim Easterby who has said about the horse;

‘Wells was a fantastic horse to train. His attitude and constitution were 2nd to none. Not only did he stay well but he was also a very talented 2yo. He is a very exiting dual purpose stallion.’

Tim has many yearlings (his oldest crop) by the sire out of very good , multiple winning mares , many of which won at York and he hopes to get the sire off and running with his progeny.

He only arrived with us on Friday and he has settled in really well alongside our seasoned residents KINGSTON HILL, DRAGON DANCER and CANNOCK CHASE.

A CANNOCK CHASE SIRED point to point winner yesterday. The Yellow Mini scoring for connections. Cannock Chase is a beautifully bred horse and has great results from small crops.

Nice to see Gunsight Ridge win a good handicap chase at Sandown on Saturday. We have his 4yr old half brother by Dragon Dancer who is in training, and an unraced half sister to him ‘Lucky Glance’ who is part of our broodmare band. She has a 5yo mare by telescope who hopefully will run once the ground gets a little better, a 2yo gelding by Gentlewave, and a yearling filly by Falco. She is due to foal in March , carrying to Kingston Hill.

In my opinion this is where racing is going wrong….. 1 million prize money split between jockeys who already get plenty of rides day in day out….. why not add £5000 prize money to 200 races across the country or even £2500 to 400 races and keep racing going. No wonder the industry is seeing a struggle when those at the top are the only ones benefiting and the smaller operations are getting pushed out. We need to keep these operations going otherwise we will have very little competition.

Others are entitled to their opinion but this is my opinion on this farcical competition that I feel is pretty pointless.

As it stands… 28 points (less than 3 race wins) clear of in the David Jockeys Championship.

Nice to have foaled this fella a few years ago and now own his dam micro mission. We sold her now 2yo by Kingston Hill privately and she is currently in foal to him again now. Well done to connections. 🎉🏆🐎
