The last one on the bus for the Heritage Champs but by no means least was Heniarth Standup 4 year old section B ridden by posy Lindsay 2nd in the novice first ridden, a little outing before he went home to Scotland having some fun for the winter, excited for this combination next year

We're honoured tonight to have played a small part in presenting Rookery Stardust to become top price of the Sunday Section A & B Welsh Pony & Cob Society Official Autumn Sale 2024 at £11,000 for John and Linda Harries, Hope Stud. That'd be top price A, B and D we've produced at these sales over the years! Good luck to his new owners.
Delighted for Rod Lewis in breeding the winning Section A gelding Cwmmeudwy Morris by Heniarth Quinnell on Friday; Cwmmeudwy Sws by Heniarth Quinnell ex a Heniarth Question dam to become third highest priced Mountain Pony female and Cwmmeudwy Cloud Berry by our Tooravale Houston (Aus) to become second highest priced Section B filly, winging her way to Sweden.
Many thanks to McCartneys Equine Sales for staging a professional sale for all WPCS members to benefit from and indeed the WPCS staff for working tirelessly all three days of the sale!

It was a pleasure to watch HENIARTH WILLY-WAGTAIL and nine year old Medi Rowles Lloyd give a lovely show at the Horse of the Year Show...only her 6th time in a First Ridden class to stand 5th out of the 25 finalists under Australian judge Chris Lawrie.
Medi then hopped onto her lead rein pony Brynodyn Danika to head a tremendous Lead Rein class and collect the Reserve Mini Championship!
Congratulations to all involved.

It's that time of the year again..."The Horse of the Year Show"...... good luck to all those that managed to qualify, with our special best wishes to the Heniarth bred or Heniarth related competitors. Many thanks to those exhibitors that have flown the "Heniarth flag" for us in the ridden classes this season, it's great for us to see them out performing or playing a part in creating the ridden ponies of the future.
We hope those international judges that have been invited this year will enjoy viewing some of the best show animals that the UK has to offer, playing their part in creating the HOYS legends for the history books!

Wonderful to see Blanche Montana taking the American National Grand Champion Mountain Pony last night and collecting his ticket to attend the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto....pictured here the first time we saw him at Springbourne in 2013, along with reacquainting with his dad Cascob Silver Ghost.
Despite his many victories with us including Royal Welsh Youngstock Champion in 2015 I feel we let him, and the breed down by parting with him so soon for what we'd hoped were greater opportunities, however, with just 21 registered offspring conceived during his time here this year sees him sire a Royal Welsh Male Champion; a Royal Welsh Gelding Champion; two Horse of the Year Show ridden qualifiers; his blood returned to Springbourne and his Royal Welsh Champion daughter Heniarth Sh-boom safely in foal for us for 2025....the little man's influence has certainly been left to shine in the UK!

At the Swedish Pony of the Year Final today in Vetlanda, where all the National Breed Show in hand champions meet. The winner was MÄLBY MORNING GLORY by Heniarth Mr Milligan out of Malby Mint Yulep by Heniarth Yarra Glen. Huge congratulations to Nette Mörner-Norström and Maarit Toyryla for their continued success.

Some tremendous results from the French National Welsh Show this weekend for previous Heniarth residents ...RHOSON KIZZIE by Heniarth Wood-Wind who took the title of National Section B champion for the third time for her owner Ingrid Delaitre, bred by John, Glenys and Meirion Davies, then COLNE TURBO lifted the Welsh Mountain Pony title for the second time before being selected as the Overall Supreme Champion! Many congratulations to his owner Aurilie Tuderi and breeders Ann & Alan Overton-Ablitt. We are proud to still have two Turbo daughters in the stud.
Many congratulations to all concerned, preparing and showing "our" ponies in the best light.

"Teacake had an amazing time at Westmorland County Show winning the London Cradle Stakes and then going on to take the Mini Worker championship and finally overall Worker Supreme! Thank you so much to Katie Griffiths for giving Charlotte the opportunity with Teacake she is one special pony! London International Horse Show is going to be a busy one! 🥰🥰🥰"
Teacake is by Colne Turbo and out of Heniarth Cupcake by Heniarth Quip.
