Owing to a couple of unavoidable cancellations, the diary has some last minute spaces available. If you are heading out for a Christmas event and need someone to pop-in for walkies, play time, feeding etc., or are thinking of a last-minute pre-Christmas break and cannot take your dog, drop us a line to see if we can help 🐶. Autumn antics at Happy Dog Holiday Care 🍂

We can't believe it's November already! We're Loving this part of the year, still dry and warm enough, with crispy colourful carpets of leaves to crunch through on walkies 🥰 🍂 🐶

Sits, boards, pop-ins and playtimes have been smattered across the last few weeks, alongside a little time off for team Happy Dog 🙂. Here are a few of our autumnal stars of the show... 🤩

Not one but TWO stays for Cheeky Charlie this month! 🐶🐶

His savvy social skills, beautiful nature and charming character make Charlie a very popular guest at chez Happy Dog, so we were delighted to host him for a double holiday helping 🥰.

His relationship with Nova, our resident boarding dog, is a joy to watch. Charlie is such a little gentleman, very respectful with just the right amount of attitude 😂💙. We really enjoyed our walkies together, he was super helpful in the garden 🍃, loved his playtime 🐕, and his cuddles were next level 😍. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it 😁.

We miss you already Charlie and can't wait until next time 🤗🤩🐶💕

🎥 Ready. Set. Action! There was a definite movie vibe to our latest sit with Gracie, as our favourite walkies locations had been taken over by film sets!

Despite Gracie's best puppy dog eyes 🐶🥹, and the addition of more cuteness when her friend Nova joined for a visit 🐶💕, we were unsuccessful at convincing the security guards to reveal which A-listers have been hanging around the Farnham area. If anyone knows, feel free to leave a comment!

Gracie was a Hollywood star as usual 🌟 and we had great adventures as we made the most of the autumn weather 🍂 ☀️ 🤩🤗. See you again soon gorgeous girl! 🐶💖

Pop in pawfection withe Pudsey and Barney 🐾

We've said it before and were happy to repeat ourselves ... every dog is an individual and should be respected as such 👏.

A few months ago, Barney and Pudsey's owners contacted us, looking for the right sort of person to look after their two super spaniels 🐶💙🐶.

While Barney is all about the love and cuddles, Pudsey is a more discerning chap, who has historically needed a little more time and considered engagement, before he would welcome a stranger into his home 🏡.

So we got to work with familiarisation sessions, taking the time to understand Pudsey's needs in particular, and letting him dictate the pace 🐶. As a result, we had a smooth build-up to their recent pop in visits, and the visits themselves went pawfectly, with Pudsey even joining in a bit of play! 🥰

We were thrilled to be able to send photos and videos to their owners, showing happy relaxed dogs, giving peace of mind so they could enjoy their time away 💙.

We look forward to next time boys 🐶💙🐶

Precious Pixie - pop-ins and photoshoots! 💕

This Romanian Queen is royalty at Happy Dog Holiday Care, and doesn’t she know it 👑🐶? We spend an hour with her here-and-there when her family needs to pop out for the day, so every minute counts!

Pixie decides what we do on our visits 🐕. Sometimes she doesn’t fancy a walk, so we head into the garden for games, treatos, back massages and neck scratchies 🤗. Other times she wants a little stroll, so we potter down the lane and sniff EVERY inch of the local community 💛🐶💜.

Most recently, we acted as her personal staff and butler on a family photoshoot 📸. She delivered a masterful performance and was finished in a matter of minutes, so we took advantage and lapped up the sights and smells around Frensham Ponds, while her humans finished taking pictures 🐶😊.

She's an absolute sweetheart and we love spending time with her. Whatever you need Pixie, we'll make it happen 💕

If Olympic sports included night-time cuddles, stuffed toy tug-of-wars and looking handsome, it'd be gold for Mac and Woody! 🏅 🐶🏅 🐶

As their pawrents headed to Paris, we enjoyed lovely country walks, garden games, treato sniffaris and epic sofa snuggles 🤗, all while keeping an eye on the TV as Team GB racked up the medals!

We love staying with this charming duo. They're always up for fun and games, while their cheeky characters keep us laughing and always looking forward to next time 💙💛💜.

Mr Bruce's big summer stay! 🌥🐕

A full two weeks with this funny, cheeky very good boy 💙. He slotted in beautifully and we were really able to maximise his time with us as a result 😊🐕.

Between mammoth snooze sessions he enjoyed his adventures, games, cuddles and tummy rubs; his impeccable manners and love of meeting new people meant he was able to venture out to watch the big football final with extended family ⚽️ (just a shame about the result!) and come on regular car rides for exploring further afield.

His biggest love, however, was reserved for the plush daybed in the kitchen where he spent more time than any dog in the history of Happy Dog Holiday Care 😴😂. Nova was a generous host and didn’t mind him lounging the days away 💕.

He became a much loved part of the furniture during his long stay and we hope he comes to stay again very soon 🐶💙🏡

Heart stealer Duke enjoys a holiday while his parents get married! 💖

This pint-sized pooch has one BIG personality and rather stole Devon's heart on his week of sunny walks, socialising, cuddling and ball chasing - Duke is very much a member of the 'ball is life' club! 🐶🎾⚾️🏀⚽️🏈🏐😂

We work hard to put together a schedule that is entirely bespoke to whatever your dog needs and enjoys 🐾🙂. When not playing ball and looking adorable 🥹, for Duke this meant a mixture of chilled time, cuddling up to Devon or sunbathing in the garden ☀️, mixed with adventures in the beautiful woodlands and fields around his home 🐕. Devon was generous with the treatos (it is holiday after all!) 🦴 and he was introduced to Twiggy, Devon's dog, as they were a great match for some big play time 🐶💙🐶

A HUGE Happy Dog congratulations to Duke's pawrents on their recent wedding. We know you had the best day of your life, and we like to think Duke had one of the best weeks of his! 🐾💙

Nova would like you to know ... we've had a cool upgrade to our boarding premises 🏡

At Happy Dog Holiday Care, we're staying chilled as the temperature rises 😎. We're delighted to now offer precise temperature controlled accommodation for our boarding guests, who will benefit from top-of-the-range air conditioning when they come for their holidays ❄️🐶😊.

Hotter drier summers, and prolonged periods of heat are here to stay as we feel the effects of climate change🌡. As you know, the safety, comfort and well-being of our canine customers is our absolute priority; so bring on the summer fun and, when the heat gets too much, you’ll find us chilling out with the AC 🌞🙌🆒️

Double the fun for Gracie! 🐶

When Gracie's pawrents contacted us to book this sit, we had to get creative to make sure this gorgeous girl could have the holiday cover she deserves! This meant starting her time with Holly, and ending with Devon - double the fun! 🥰🐶

And what a time she had. From looong luxurious walkies, to private fields (just because ☺️), daily treat and play sessions, trips to visit doggy friends and cozy cuddly evenings ... nothing is too much trouble for Gracie.

We discovered that her enthusiam remains 10/10 in all scenarios 🙌, but the world of agility is not going to be taken by storm quite yet 😉. Her ability to sniff out THE ONLY sticky muddy puddle in acres of field however, turned out to be world class 👌😂

Another lovely stay, good girl Gracie and we'll see you next month 😍

Bruce is back! ☀️🐶😎

Its been a few months since we last saw this beautiful boy, but in he strolled last weekend, with his larger-than-life Frenchie character, like he owned the place! 😂👑.

This was first of a few upcoming boards and sits (he likes to mix it up 🐾), and we were delighted to host him once more. King of the snoozes, King of the daybed and King of the snoring... Bruce is a big advocate of taking it easy 💤🙂.

We're so pleased he felt so at home and this bodes for an excellent long stay in just a couple of months, with lots of fun activities, adventures and, of course, nap times! 💓

We can't wait to see you again soon Mr Bruce 🥰💙

Five star boarding and volunteering in the shelters, its been an exciting April at Happy Dog Holiday Care! 🌟🐶💜💛

We're thrilled to announce that, once again, Happy Dog Holiday Care has been awarded the highest possible star rating for our boarding premises 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Our recent license renewal inspection went pawfectly, and we're proud to continue to offer a service that is second-to-none, putting your dogs' safety, welfare and happiness at the heart of what we do 🐶🥰.

We've also spent a week volunteering abroad, in Portuguese rescue shelters 🇵🇹. Sadly, not all dogs are as loved and well cared for as our clients; abandonment, abuse and neglect is the reality for so many. We played the very tiniest part in helping, alongside some truly wonderful people, who dedicate their lives to saving these dogs 💙.

We love all dogs, but it's no secret that rescues are our favourite 🐶🥰. The Happy Dog team has only ever owned rescue dogs and they've only ever been extraordinary. There are hundreds desperate for homes. If you're looking for a dog, please consider adoption 🐾. We hope you enjoy a few pictures of the gorgeous pups we encountered 💜💛

We had the best time looking after Gaja and her new little sister, Margaux! 😍🥰🐾🐾

We were VERY excited to be reunited with Gaja again, and to meet little Margaux, who won’t be little for long! She is a beautiful 4 month old Old English Mastiff, and is an absolute treasure. 😇 Our stays with Gaja are always full of glorious cuddles, wonderful adventures and fun playtime, and this was only amplified with the company of Margaux! Gaja has done a brilliant job of teaching Margaux the ropes, and it was so heartwarming to see them both living together so happily 🥰.

It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with these two fabulous furry ladies (and Batman the cat, who was feeling a little camera shy!), and we are SO excited to see them again soon 🥰🐾💞

Bertie's big stay! And what a superstar he was 🤩

After months of familiarisation visits getting to know this sweet boy, the time came for Bertie's big Easter holiday, while his parents went abroad to get married 🥰💍👰‍♀🤵‍♂️

Well, everyone's efforts certainly paid off as Bertie slotted in to his time with us superbly. His dynamic with resident boarding dog Nova was wonderful to see, with her giving him a bit of confidence and reassurance when needed. In return, Bertie was a true gentleman and gave Nova her space.. a dream duo! 🐶❤️💙🐶

Well done Bertie! We're all super proud of you and it was a pleasure to see your personality and confidence shine ✨️🐶

Living life to the max with Maximus! 🐶💙

This beautiful Beagle has a lifestyle we can all dream of and it's our job to make sure this continues when his family enjoys time away 🤗.

For our recent stay, this involved not one but TWO trips to the beach 🏖, a whole day out sniffing every inch of the New Forest 🌳, coffee stops at every opawtunity (this isn't just us getting our coffee fix, Maximus loves the bustle of a local coffee shop ☕🐾) and generally gracing the public of Farnham with his presence (you're welcome Farnham!) 😉🐶.

Time for cuddles and snoozes are built in as-standard, of course, and we're rather confident he enjoyed his staycation as much as his family enjoyed their holidays 😎.

Whatever your dog needs, it's our pleasure to tailor their schedule so they can have fun, stay safe and feel right at home. Until next time Maximus! 💙🐶💙

Happy half term holidays with Fern, Albi, the hens, fishy friends AND their new kitties! 🤩

Perhaps with the exception of spiders (sorry guys!)🕷😳, we love caring for as many animals as possible 🥰.

Well, we certainly get our fix with Fern & Albi's family, especially as two beautiful kittens, Raya and Rafi have now joined the clan 🐈💕🐈.

The need for cuddles and fuss in this household is REAL, and, what better during a rainy February, than to oblige 🤗. If we must spend cozy evenings blanketed in dogs and cats, then so be it 🙏😌.

Of course, the dogs enjoyed their adventures too as we explored the local area, with our focus on safety and wellbeing, as always 🌳🚶🏼‍♀️🐕🐕. For Fern & Albi, this means mixing on-lead walkies with off-lead crazy times in enclosed fields to let of some steam and get as muddy and wet as possible (Albi, we're looking at you here buddy! 🐾).

It's always a lovely busy sit with this bunch, and we feel privileged to be trusted with such precious little souls 💖

What a way to start the new year! Let's put our paws together for Bertie 🐾👏🐶💙

Firstly, cast your minds back to July 2023 (remember, when it was warm?! 🤗). This is when we first met Bertie, a gorgeous and very much-loved Miniature Schnauzer with a few anxieties 🐶.

With his pawrents getting married in spring 2024, they were struggling to find the right place and people they would feel comfortable with, for delivering the standard of care Bertie deserves 🥺.

After learning about the exclusive service we offer, we carefully put together and embarked on a long-term plan, to build Bertie's confidence and happiness with new surroundings and people 🐶💙👱‍♀️.

We started with just an hour's visit at a time and built this up very slowly. Just last week, Bertie had his first exemplary overnight stay and we couldn't be prouder of him ☺️🐶💙. This bodes wonderfully for his long stay later this year and we felt it time he had his very own post - well done Bertie! 🙌

No two dogs are the same and we pride ourselves on taking a bespoke approach to every dog coming into our care. A story like Bertie's is so rewarding and definitely helps us keep the 'happy' in Happy Dog Holiday Care 💜💛
