So, here's something I never expected.
I was working on updating and revising my first ever book, 'It's Okay to be Alone'. While Graham was checking out some changes with Amazon's publishing, he saw a new book on Separation Anxiety, published in March this year.
He had a look at the first few pages of it, and something seemed very familiar.
He was certain he had read this book before, yip, if you haven't already guessed it, someone named Paul Waddoude decided he would plagerise my book.
Not just extracts of my book, but the whole book. This (was going to call him Author, Ha! But he is not) person decided it would be okay, to extract all the photos, change the cover and title, he put the text through a program that would change certain words to make it look like his own.
So den became lair, toilet became latrine etc.lol. Lots of it is gobbledygook, because of the words that have been substituted, but of course until you buy it, you would not know that. He has kept my whole history and even my case histories in it. Every page, every chapter and title heading are the same. What a Numpty you are My Paul Waddoude. Lucky for me I have a husband who's finger is on the pulse of everything and not much gets passed him. Unlucky for you!
First my photos were taken on Fb and used to advertise someone else's puppies, now my book lol. Some people have just no shame.
So if you see this book by Paul Waddoude, which is probably not even his right name, beware.
Shame on you Paul Waddoude!
Amazon are investigating it.
