Abbeywell is one of a select few clinics in the country that have been chosen for an "Early Experience Program" of a revolutionary new treatment for managing chronic pain and improving the quality of life of cats with arthritis. If you are concerned about your cat's mobility and are interested in participating, please contact us for details.
Does you dog suffer from painful joints?
Does Your Dog Have Painful Joints?
A new, groundbreaking treatment for the pain associated with arthritis is about to be launched. This treatment is not yet available, but Abbeywell Vets has been selected as one of a small number of veterinary practices around the country to be given early access to this treatment as part of an Early Experience Program.
The manufacturer has supplied us with a limited number of doses to offer at a discounted price in exchange for some feedback. They would love to hear about the benefits this treatment is having on the everyday lives of dogs and their owners.
The treatment is an “antibody” that works by attaching itself to a specific substance responsible for pain and neutralises it. Because it is not a drug, side effects are minimal and unlike traditional pain killers it can be used safely in all dogs, including ones also suffering from other conditions or dogs that have shown side-effects to traditional medications.
If you would like to know more or if you would like to participate in this unique Early Experience Program, please email [email protected] and we'll send you more detailed information.
