On Friday 22nd November just after midday, my Lily slipped away peacefully at home on my lap and crossed the 🌈 bridge. As you all know my dogs are my world. They’re the reason I started this business. They’ve been by my side every day for almost 16 years. Lily recently stopped coming on the group walks so you wouldn’t have seen her in any photos but she did come on a couple of walks in the summer. In the last couple of years she’s slowed down and preferred her bed. Unfortunately her health problems started to take over and I chose to let her go with a bit of dignity before she got any worse. She spent her last ten days eating all the naughty things she’d never been allowed and pain free. She’s left a massive hole in my heart and an emptiness I can’t explain. The house is very quiet without her as she had a big personality and she was always under my feet and tripping us all up. My job is to now give Skye, my other dog, lots of extra treats and cuddles and we will navigate through this grief together 💔
