We very much needed to sooth the soul, this weekend. So what better way to do it than spending time with family. Plenty of it spent outdoors, enjoying Brenda's favourite forest, exploring nature.

On our way back from Lyminge Forest, we stopped for a bite to eat at The Lord Whisky Tea Rooms .

The Lord Whisky Sanctuary is a lifeline for animals of all kinds. They provide sanctuary to animals who become homeless or who have been injured or abused, and vital veterinary care to those on low incomes.

It was a doggy dream at today! We had some very obliging pooches who were super happy to strike a pose 😍

Seaview Holiday Park is a cracking venue for a market. Lovely big green to to really spread out and play with the local dogs 💜

We will be in Herne Bay next Sunday if you fancy a summer day trip 😎

We regularly like to do a "call out" for doggy donations, in the form of food and treats, for local homeless dogs.

If you have food or treats, your dog no longer likes or needs, bring it in and we'll make sure it gets to those who need it 🐾

We have a rare Sunday without a market, so we took full advantage, and went to the beautiful Lyminge forest for an early walk with Brenda. She really is a country dog 🐾

Brenda loves a forest ... Lots of space for parkour, lots of bushes for snoofing. But, she does NOT like airplanes, so we thought a good long walk would chill her out for the rest of the day. Hopefully she'll be too tired to worry about the air show.

Sorry there is a distinct lack of photos, which is very unlike me. But! Mel from , who makes our doggy shampoo and paw balm, took this fabulous photo. I look child sized compared to these enormous, gentle beasts.

Oh my goodness, it's all happening today ... My lovely dad is in hospital, so I've had to ferry my mum up. And, Mr Steve's mum has just dropped a knife on her foot, so they're in hospital too. I tell you, it's all going on 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hopefully we'll be back tomorrow 🐾

Spent a glorious day making a fuss over all the dogs of Whitstable. They were all adorable and deserved lots of treats and scratches. We truly have the best job ever!

This was only the second time was hosted by but it had the best turn out ... 23 stalls, and plenty of happy customers.

We shall be there every 1st Sunday of the month. If you fancy a nice day out come along and say hey 🖐🏼

Join us this Easter weekend for our Easter Egg rolling competition!

Decorate an official racing egg then join in the racing heats on the cobbled street of The Old High Street.

Races take place throughout the day so drop in any time and join the next race.

Egg decorating workshop taking place all day in Fourth Wall Folkestone (10-12 The Old High Street, CT20 1RL) so drop in, collect your egg and decorate. Drop in any time between 12.00 - 4.00.

Or if you prefer, grab your racing egg from shops along The Old High Street in the week leading up to Easter so you can decorate at home at your leisure and bring them back on Saturday for the race!

Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated egg so get imaginative!

(Please note... We're not into wasting food here on The Old High Street so all eggs are paper mache. Only official eggs will be entered into the races so please do not bring your own)
