Saffron and Sage invite you to hire their private 1 acre secure doggie field. Please take the time to read through the information below.

By booking you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. Please drive slowly (5-10mph) on Underhill Road. Do not park on or use any of the livery land (Casebourne Farm) to pass any vehicles that may approach you. The land we refer to is in front of the large metal gates and the gravel area just before the farmhouse marked: No Parking Private Property. MAXIMUM number of people per booking (includ

ing children) is 4. No PROFESSIONAL dog walkers. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking or leave more than 10 minutes after your slot has ended. You MUST inspect the field for yourself to ensure suitability for use by your dog(s): eg. fence height, netting spacings, ground conditions etc. ENTERING AND LEAVING THE FIELD
• All dogs must be kept on a lead between the parking area and the field.
• Please ensure you leave the field promptly when your time expires.
• Please ensure you close the gates properly when leaving the field.
• Please leave the field as you would wish to find it. DOGS IN THE FIELD
• The maximum number of dogs in the field should not exceed 4 at any one time.
• Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and regularly treated for flea, tick and worm prevention.
• DO NOT use the field if your dog has suffered/is suffering from any illness or has/has had diarrhea in the last 48 hours. BEHAVIOUR IN THE FIELD
• Never leave your dog unattended in the field, your dog is your responsibility.
• Be aware that there are other animals in adjacent fields.
• Please do not drop litter in the field, take it home with you.
• NO SMOKING. The field and the premises it resides in is a strictly no smoking area.
• Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Children MUST be supervised at all times.
• Please wear appropriate footwear as the ground may be uneven, wet and slippery. POO PROTOCOL
• Dog owners are responsible for picking up their own dog’s poo.
• Our Poo Policy: Owners sometimes miss their dog’s poo…if you see poo then please pick it up, this helps keep the field clean for everyone’s benefit.
• Please put dog poo bags in the bin provided. LIABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• You enter the field at your own risk. We will not accept any responsibility for injury, illness or death of your dog from using our facilities. You are advised to ensure your pet is fully insured for all eventualities.
• Our fences are regularly checked to ensure that they are dog proof but no liability can be accepted for any dog that escapes – under, over or through the fence.
• You park your car in the parking area at your own risk.
• S&S Doggie Field accepts no liability for any losses or injuries suffered whilst using the facilities. SECURITY
• There are 24 hour CCTV cameras in the parking area, by the first gate and on both shelters in the field. MOD ACTIVITY
• The MOD have access to the field opposite our garden through the gate on the right.
• If you notice MOD activity on the road by the cottage or by their access gate, either vehicular or personnel, please follow these instructions. We will phone you to warn you if we can.
• If you have just arrived stay in the parking area.
• If you are leaving stay in the safe area between the two gates to the doggie field.
• If you are mid-way wait on the hard standing in front of the gate leading into our garden. CANCELLATION POLICY
• S&S Doggie Field operates a 24 hour cancellation policy.
• No shows and cancellations UNDER 24 hours will still be charged.
• If S&S Doggie Field needs to cancel a booking that you have made, 24 hours notice will be given, unless there are severe weather conditions. We take complaints very seriously. We are situated at the end of a private road with parking and easy access to the doggie field. We have a safe and secure space that Saffron and Sage (our 2 cockapoos) use for fun and exercise which is also available for private hire. The doggie field provides the opportunity for your dog to exercise, enjoy the fresh air, practice training techniques, play games and generally burn off all that doggie energy. Just why? Who knows what’s going on in Ron (Fleasley) mind 🤷🏻‍♀️ He enjoyed time running and playing in the secure field. That would be ideal for him if you are after a young lively lurcher as at 18 months of age he has lots of energy to burn off.

Our Story

We moved to Casebourne 16 years ago and have a small holding with paddock, orchard and vegetable garden attached to our cottage and private garden. We have 2 doggies, 6 pussycats and 10 chickens. We are situated at the end of a private road with parking and easy access to the doggie field.

We have a safe and secure space that Saffron and Sage (our 2 cockapoos) use for fun and exercise which is also available for private hire. The doggie field provides the opportunity for your dog to exercise, enjoy the fresh air, practice training techniques, play games and generally burn off all that doggie energy. Owners can relax and enjoy the company of their dog(s) safe in the knowledge that they can’t escape and won’t meet other dogs.
