For ⛵️- 13.2hh hunting cob
It’s with a very heavy heart I am on the search for a new 🏡 for our lovely boy Dexter. Will has hunted him for a few seasons and he has hunted for many more before us. Will has had such fun with him and gained so much confidence but mounted games is what he wants to concentrate on and I unfortunately can’t keep all the ponies as much as you all know I’d love too but Dexter is such a fab pony he needs to be out on the hunting field enjoying his job. He will be wasted with us this season as we just don’t have time to get out regularly with the other commitments for mounted games.
My sister has ridden and hunted him and even Mum has hacked him out (some will know that’s a huge deal), grandma has hacked him too! Kids from the yard have hacked him and all of mine have ridden him. He is super safe to be ridden, literally put your granny on kind 😂 sorry mum!).
He is a typical cob so needs clipping and mite treatment. He can be a pickle to catch, this is his quirk, he needs to have his head collar left on in the field at all times. In a small field he is fine buy we have quite big fields so find it’s better to keep it on.
I’d love to find him another hunting home as this is what he absolutely loves. He does not enjoy schooling in an arena, finds it very boring and would much prefer to be out and about.
He is super smart when all clipped out and although super safe not boring at all, I love riding him!
Please share far and wide, will only go to a loving 5* home, will break our hearts to see him go so no time wasters please.
