Behind the scenes of social media photos… 😂🙈

My old dogs (Kodi and my other huskies) were always very photogenic and happy to pose…

Mouse however… well… this is the best I’ve got. 😂

Every time I’m at the meadows I think “I must remember to take some lovely photos for social media”… then I’m busy mowing, fixing things, chatting to customers or chasing after Mouse and completely forget. 🤦‍♀️

So if you’ve got a favourite photo of your dog enjoying Wild & Free and you’re happy for me to use it in future posts, I’d love to see it! 🐾🌼

🌾 A little field update…

Firstly, thank you all for your patience and kind messages over the last month.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, the grass hasn’t been able to be cut as regularly as I would have liked. As many of you have noticed, nature has taken the opportunity to thoroughly reclaim the space in the meantime! 🌼🐝

The downside, of course, is that finding and picking up dog poo in long grass becomes quite a challenge. The upside is that the wildlife has certainly been enjoying itself.

I’m pleased to say the grass is finally getting tackled today. It won’t be a perfect finish straight away, particularly as I’m working around the current heatwave conditions, but I’m making progress and doing my best to get everything back under control as quickly and safely as possible.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding while I work through it all. 🐾💚

☀️ With the warmer weather this week, I’ve adjusted the opening hours to help everyone make the most of the cooler parts of the day.

Summer opening hours:

04:00 - 23:00

A 24-hour reschedule window is also in place for this week to help keep things running smoothly while timings are adjusted.

As always, all bookings can be managed via the system as normal.

This pretty much sums up our December 😂🐾

Apologies to everyone for the radio silence recently. I’ve been out of action since the beginning of December after picking up an injury while working at the Meadows.

While not life-threatening, it’s unfortunately been quite debilitating and meant I’ve been unable to reply to messages — and sadly there were no festivities here over the holiday period.

A few messages have been kindly responded to by friends who stepped in to help, but I’m very aware there’s a backlog, for which I sincerely apologise.

Now that I’m able to be back on screens for short periods and gently ease myself back into normal life, I really appreciate your patience while I catch up.

I truly hope you all had a happy and healthy start to the New Year.
