T.F.I. Friday!!
After a pretty busy and stressful week, it was a real pleasure to end it on such an enjoyable walk. I had Oreo and Tally meet and walk with Bono and Cathy for the first time. The Spaniels are quite timid, and the Staffies are most certainly not. After a little trepidation from Oreo and Tally, they soon got along great, I let Bono work his magic and he had Tally playing without a care in the world.

It's been quite a while since my last post but I'm still here and walking the dogs as usual. We're back to full strength after the holidays and it's good to be back.
I've been walking Jasper for almost a year, but he's moving away, so someone else will get the pleasure of walking him now. Yesterday was my last walk with him, and I'll be sad to see him go. He was definitely one of the easiest dogs to walk, and the other dogs will miss him too.

We have a couple of new faces this week. A wee fella named Ottis and a not so wee fella called Machair. I'm looking forward to getting them into group walks, but they're not quite ready for that just yet.
Overall, it's been a good week, and here's a few pictures of what we've been up to.

Here's a few pics and clips from this week's walks. I certainly didn't enjoy some of the rain we had this week, but the dogs didn't care a jot. Hopefully we can have some sun for next week.

My photography skills weren't up to much today but I did get a few haf decent ones. Never mind...the weekend is here. Time to rest my feet for a couple of days.

Today was the longest day of walking I've had. From 08:00 till 17:30 nonstop (except for travelling to each house) 42492 steps is a personal work day best.
I've even got a new girl into the mix, a wee Staffie/Boxer cross named Bella.

Apologies for so few posts recently. Between pouring raining,freezing conditions and too many dogs on leads, I've not been as snap happy as usual. Here's a photo dump from the past few weeks. We have the regulars and a few new pups in the mix now too.
I thought I'd share this for anyone that may be unsure whether to have their puppy or dog out in these freezing conditions.

Well, it's Friday, and that's my walks finished till the new year. It's time for some quality downtime with my family. I would like to say and massive thank you to all my customers for their generosity over the past 2 weeks. I've had so many cards,gifts,sweets, and beer, and I am so incredibly grateful to them all. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 🐾

T.G.I.F. After a pretty miserable and wet week, it's good to be off for the weekend. Fingers crossed for some drier weather next week 🤞 The dogs don't ever seem to care about the rain, so I guess as long as they're happy, then so am I.
That was a very long day today but satisfying to know that the dogs all got their steps in. I do enjoy walking in these sunny but frosty conditions. It's certainly better than walking in the rain (which is apparently on its way) 😔
It has been an extremely busy week for me, and that has put me well behind on my fb updates. So you're all getting a photo and video dump of some of this week's walks.
I added 6 news dogs to the rota this week, but I'm still to walk 3 of them. 5 of these dogs are Dalmations, too! They both walked very well, and Solomon even got off-lead on our first walk. He's taken a special liking to Buddy 🙈
So I had Bear for the first time in a while, and what an eventful walk it was 🙄. The big beast walked beautifully on the slip lead and responded well to the clicker,couldn't fault him at all. Once we reached a nice field, I decided to let him have a bit more freedom to roam, so I changed lead over to a retractable. What I had forgotten about was that Little Buddy had been chewing on the same retractable earlier in the week 🙈 So as Bear reached the end of the lead he decided to dart at a leaf blowing in the wind and the lead snapped at the chewed end and all 5m came rolling back at full speed to whip me in the face. Bear then realises he has complete freedom and says to himself "haha I'm not going back on a lead right now...chase me ,chase me" 15 long minutes of me trying every trick in the book to get close enough to catch him and looking like an idiot in the process,I finally got him back on the lead. He certainly enjoyed the run around and the rest of his walk was uneventful but it did make for a funny start to the day. Till next time Bear,see you soon.
Today's walks were really enjoyable. Bright and sunny and crisp. It's always so much better when the rain stays away. I'm not sure if the dogs care so much, but I certainly do.
Oreo didn't pose today. Jett was covered in the foulest mess she could find to roll in,so the only photos from today are the two Buddy's.
