💔🌈💔At 28 years of age it was time for us to help Toby over to rainbow bridge. 💔🌈💔
Toby first came to Bowlers 22 years ago when Karen & Holly bought him from Beeston market. After schooling him on they then sold him to Chris & Robin who showed him very successfully, even qualifying for the Horse Of The Year Show on numerous occasions. Chris then gave him back to us on loan, where Toby was just a master of all trades!
From side saddle to pony clubs, under saddle or in the stable, Tobys gentle nature meant he was perfect for teaching adults and children the ropes.
But where he really shone was with the RDA, he loved going out on nature walks and was so sturdy and dependable he was a firm favourite with the riders, instructors and volunteers.
Toby you have helped so many people learn to ride, made so many unforgettable memories for people and will be missed more than you will know. 💔

Rosie and Roxy had a great day out today, even if they did get wet! We took them to their first show, the wonderful Simonswood Riding Club where they both acted like pros and came home with a rosette each! Mary even came to watch and was so proud of how they behaved and congratulated Emma and Immy on how smart they all looked!

Thank you to everyone who came to the dog show today, it was super busy which made it even harder for our judge to pick between your beautiful dogs!

The prizes are out and we’re all set up and ready for 2pm!

We also have a fun clear round (demonstration attempt by Tilly!!!) for you all to try at £1 per go!

We maybe shut for lessons but it’s all systems go on the yard! All the ponies are out enjoying their holiday and the yard revamp is underway! 😁😁

Please don’t forget we are closed next week 2nd -8th September so our horses can all go on their jollies!
But….
If you would still like to come down to the stables to help us paint the stables we would be very grateful! Just show up and we’ll pass you a brush and a tub of paint!!
We also have a dog show on Saturday 7th from 2pm, all welcome!
