Make the most of the festive break and try a Dunes & Dogs recommended walk, here are a few of our favs 🥾⛰️🐾
🦌 Tatton Park WA16 6SG
A lovely walk if you want to see Deer! The walk can be as short or as long as you like! We managed to walk 7 miles and saw loads of deer! There is a lovely shop, and cafe too. Dogs on the lead!
Parking on site for a fee
🦌 Dunham Massey
Another walk if you fancy deer spotting and not too far to go. If you have a National Trust membership then parking is free 👌🏻
There is a cafe, shop.
Dogs on the lead, although there is an area to let them off just outside the park but within the grounds.
⛰️ Catbells, The Lake District
A popular circular, moderate not overly difficult walk.
On a clear day the views won’t disappoint.
Approx. 3.5 miles.
3 miles away from Keswick with plenty of dog friendly pubs and shops too!
⛰️ The Old Man of Coniston, The Lake District
A circular moderate to manageable hike.
6 miles approx. May take 4 to 6 hours.
Lovely pub The Ship ….most likely need to book!
⛰️Stickle Tarn, The Lake District
A circular trail moderately challenging 4.2km, 2hr 10 approx
National Trust car park.
The New Dungeon Ghyll pub at the start/finish The New Dungeon Ghyll
🥾 Buttermere, The Lake District
A lovely circular flat walk around the lake, 4.2 miles approx and a pub at the start/finish!
There are so many others which I will recommend throughout the year. The walks are obviously tried and tested and will be our favs 🥰👌🏻most of all the dogs will LOVE IT!!!!! 🐾
Grab your hiking boots flask and lead (don’t forget the kids) and make memories ❤️
