Yorkshire Raw pallet will not be here today.

It was found on Wednesday last week but the transport company have done nothing to get get it returned. Various excuses including thete wasn't room on the transport, I have suggested they take something off to get mine on but I know nothing will happen because I am a very smaller customer to them.
No compensation, no refund, no apology.
New ETA is Wednesday.

☆☆ pallet has been found in a depot just south of Bristol, hopefully its my pallet but any will do.
It won't be here until Monday.

Yorkshire Raw.

The Yorkshire Raw pallet left them on Wednesday as it was meant to but the wrong pallet (had my labels on it) was delivered to the cold store on Friday.

Transport company has been contacted.

No idea when or if I will get my pallet.

I only have Yorkshire Raw in lamb complete in stock until the pallet turns up.

No ETA for Stobart so it won't be this week.

Black Isle run on Friday. Orders in before 2pm Thursday please. North Kessock, Beauly, Muir of Ord, Conon Bridge, Dingwall, Culbokie, Avoch, Munlochy. Can do Kirkhill and Kiltarlity if needed. Mookie who is 16 years, blind and deaf likes a toddle round the garden (dads), always turns right.

Thought I would do a bit of a beef comparison accross the different brands. On the videos: Totally Natural beef offal (80/10/10 but I consider the bone %age to be lower than 10%). Staffordshire Raw beef 80/10/10 Staffordshire Raw boneless beef Just Natural beef + heart (bone free) Yorkshire Raw beef complete (80/10/10) 2 packs because they were slightly different colours. Dougies free flow beef 80/10/10 Dougies beef 80/10/10 Didn't use any Paleo or Naturaw because they are mixed with poultry. I would consider both these companies to be better quality because they source grass fed beef (poultry is better too). Can only load 1 video so others in comments. First video is semi thawed. Second thawed. Third portioned. Fourth sitting next to each other with the flash on. Remember beef "oxidizes" with air so the Totally Natural, Just Natural and Dougies free flow change colour because there is plenty air in the packet. Dougies, Staffordshire only on the outside which has contact with air. Yorkshire Raw no air so no coloring. Myoglobin which is the liquid or blood that comes out of the meat. Darker myoglobin comes from darker meats (heart). Not sure why some have more than others.

Speyfruit - as far as i am aware Speyfruit will now close at 2pm on Mondays. If you need collect an order could it be before 1pm or probably easier a different day. Monday - will need to order Nutriment. Packing up Inverness run orders. Tuesday: Morning Dougies delivery Afternoon/evening Inverness run Wednesday - let me know if you want anything from TRF. Orders must be for whole boxes. I need to post their new products and price lists. Friday - packing Tain run orders. Saturday - Tain run. Sunday - day off.

Happy New Year. Back working tomorrow with the Inverness run which is more or less all packed ready to go. Friday is Black Isle run. 2 of the girls are in heat so we have been out and about. Hoopers training has started again after a wee break because I was busy. Video is Peggy.

Thought I would put up this wee video so can see how the pallets are organised or disorganised in this case! When the pallets come in the boxes are in a pattern to stop them moving and pallet wrapped. I unload them onto a pallet into columns with the same ones together so there will be a tower of turkey lamb offal for instance. Totally Natural, Just Natural and Naturaw have the labels on the top so I have to write what it is on the end or side facing out. It's all done in codes, CD is chicken dinner, BO is beef offal etc. If someone has ordered in but it isn't going out right away I put their name on the bottom box but if it's going out before I am at the bottom I just use the top one and score out the bottom name. If the code is underlined I have opened the box. Dougies have labels on the side. Premium have big flat boxes with labels on the end. Paleo Ridge have no labels and they are all randomly mixed boxes. Staffordshire I have loaded into crates. Yorkshire is in crates with no labels and they are too heavy to shift a few to see what is in the bottom crates. Nutriment writes on the top of the boxes.

Schedule: Monday - Staffordshire Raw will be delivered. Packing up orders for the Inverness run. Tuesday - Lulu hoopers. Dougies delivery in the morning and I need stock off it to do the Inverness run. Inverness deliveries. Wednesday - Peggy hoopers. Local deliveries. Saturday- Tain run. There is space in the cold store for 1 pallet but Staffordshire is coming on 2. Dougies will fit on 1 and have a bit of space for, maybe, Paleo. Premium Raw is order but don't know when it will come. Needing 1 or 2 lines from Totally Natural so should order a pallet in. Paleo will be ordered for next week. New brand coming in and would like to get it this week but there isn't going to be much space. Mookie had her 16th Birthday yesterday. Deaf and blind but still likes a toddle along the road.

Tain run will be Sunday. Sure the van would be fine with the standing water but the girls won't want a walk in Camore woods in the rain!

Bit of a problem. This freezer is full of cancelled orders except for the first box but there are 2 boxes under it. Should I take a deposit before I pack it? Before I take it home?
