Thank you to those that donated to my Grandson Finlay's Mayday Mile for the RNLI, he has had an absolute blast visiting various lifeboat stations and meeting some of the volunteers who have all been brilliant with him. I was lucky enough to complete the challenge with him last Sunday at Arbroath Lifeboat station where Peter very kindly came down and showed us around. Well ahead of schedule and raising well in excess of £500, absolutely smashing his original target we are incredibly proud of him.( Although he did get into trouble for climbing the garden fence into next doors garden yesterday)

My Grandson Finlay loves a trip to the harbour and the Lifeboat in Arbroath and it was very sad when we saw the large Shannon class launch and depart for the last time. He is an absolute non stop whirlwind and will smash this😀🛥️

Typical, last week I took my camera with me to try and get some pictures of the heron I've seen a lot of; only for it not to make an appearance. Today it's there but I only have my phone camera.

What a cracking day despite the ice rink underfoot; the view across the mist filled Moray Firth to the sun on the snow capped mountains was stunning.
