December is approaching fast and as always this is my busiest time of the year, I’m fully booked ❤️
Next week I will be sending everyone that has an appointment in December a reminder if u can’t manage or need the appointment anymore please let me know asap. I have a cancellation list that I can offer the appointment to others
Missed or Cancellations 24hrs prior to ur appointment will be charged as a full groom & 48hrs half the groom however if the weather and roads get bad I will of course understand that ❄️⛄️

This still blows me away the phrase JUST A BATH when I’m asked the price of grooming a large dog!
Would anyone question there hairdresser or there beautician over there prices?? I definitely wouldn’t!! I’m more than happy to explain why it costs what it does
I quoted this price after being sent pics of the dog
Grooming a large dog takes a lot of very hard work, time and patience, extra products because of the size, equipment running longer because of the size not to mention the time it takes to clean up after the groom!!
The majority of owners with larger breeds completely understand this and I really appreciate that but just want to remind owners there is never JUST A BATH when grooming any dog especially large ones!! ❤️

Did not expect this today 🫣
Was contacted this morning by local pet awards Scotland to tell me I’ve been nominated a few times for Dog groomer of the year award Scotland 2024 and through as a finalist 😳
Shocked to say the least but absolutely so touched people have taken the time to put me forward for this
I absolutely love what I do so this really does mean alot 🥰
Thank you so much who ever nominated me n thought I was worthy of this 😂❤️🫶🏻❤️

Hope everyone can appreciate how busy our days are and after long busy days the last thing I want to do is come home and be working more. We are absolutely loving our big dog days delighted how much it’s cutting down grooming time for our larger dogs 🥰
Harris was in tonight he’s a large golden doodle , solo grooming nearly 3hrs if not more with a very fed up agitated Harris 🥺..2 of us grooming him bath to full groom 1hr 40mins so much better for everyone 😊

Wee recommendation
Anyone looking for a pet friendly restaurant would highly recommend The C**k and Bull Balmedie large yorkie Sunday roast was amazing 😍
Nosey cylde loved watching out the window 🥰

Often we hear of owners who have been given information such as their dogs coat shouldn’t be clipped for the first year, or their dog doesn’t need groomed for a certain time.
Puppy visits are essential to these kind of breeds to give them a good start and reassure them that it isn’t a scary experience. 😊
A few bath and blow dries and little visits to us really makes the difference when it’s time for a proper clip.
Thankfully benjis owner kept his coat in beautiful condition and benji took it like champ.
And think he was grateful to be able to see again 🤣🥰

Happy post 🥰
Meet Monty he’s 11 yrs old & been going to the vets for a number of yrs getting sedated & shaved because of bad aggression when getting groomed but due to his age the sedation was getting more risky
Thankfully his human reached out to us & with advice on what we can do he came into see us tonight.
There was no expectations from us or his family on how we’d get on & to be honest was expecting a complete nightmare 🥺
Monty did amazing 🤩
Plenty patience, reassurance n treats of course 😂 he left fully groomed, happy & with a very happy family that i’m delighted for 🥰

I asked Monty’s mum’s permission to post this for anyone else in a similar situation.
We can’t make any promises but we will always try our best for ur furbabies ❤️ JW grooms
