Willows is reopening for visitors on the 19th of April! And our charity shop and Beastie house will be open too!
We’ve been very busy making lots of essential repairs and upgrades to the sanctuary over the winter. Our original charity shop which had deteriorated badly over the many years we’d had it(and it was very old when we got it!) has been demolished and we now have a small education room in its place. Our Beastie house has had a new roof put on by our fantastic handyman Neil and he’s been very busy making lots of other repairs to the sanctuary, including repairing our wooden stable block, fixing field shelters, fencing repairs and making the coffee shop entrance more wheelchair and buggy friendly.
The cost of living is becoming a huge worry and we are all being badly affected by it. Because of this, we have decided, for now, not to increase our admission fee as we are concerned that doing so would impact our supporters being able to visit. Without you all, our amazing supporters, Willows simply wouldn’t exist and it’s down to you all that the sanctuary can keep on, keeping on!
Among all of the other things, we are pleased to announce that the new Cateos for Marmalade and his friends will be arriving soon and he is going to absolutely love his new improved accommodation!
We still need to raise funds for the remaining costs of this appeal to cover flooring, insulation, enrichment etc. so if you feel like you could make a donation towards this, please follow the link below.⬇️
We are looking forward to seeing many of you on the 19th of April!
