A little update, Hilly is improving almost hourly. She's almost stopped going sideways & is steadier, she's not falling over when she shakes her head most of the time now. She's much more relaxed and feeling more secure which means she's settling down to sleep more instead of trying to desperately chase Justin & falling over. Appetite has picked up as long as it's mince, chicken & puppy food 😁 if she wants that that's fine by us 👍. On the whole a good start 😀.

We've had a mixed week really, Justin's been off so we can catch up on some jobs which we've been doing.
Suki left us to go to a lovely new home yesterday, a family that lost a great aunty of hers age 11, so happy she's gone to such a smashing family.
But we've also had 3 vets trips.
First with Red & Charlie for eye tests which were successful, yay, , 2nd with puppies for vaccination & then unexpectedly this morning with our lovely Hilly, who has had a little stroke, she's fine, a bit wobbly & leaning a little to the left but she's had some pilchards & is having a sleep. She's got some meds & is happy. She's a grand old lady of 13.5 yrs now so we kind of brace ourselves for stuff like this, every day's a bonus so as our vet says enjoy her while we can 🥰😟. Hopefully she'll improve over the weekend & be back to her clingy if a bit doddery self soon. 🤞

Little miss independent, Suki doing her own thing while Justin chips a golf ball. She knows to stay away from the fray. Pippin doesn't get involved either 😂.

Update : we possibly have a potential home for Scout now, I'll keep you updated.

Hi Folks sadly, through no fault of his own this lovely boy is looking for a new forever home. Scout is 3, neutered, up to date with vaccines, got good recall as long as there aren't dogs too close (we've all been there!) he does come though and will stay so you can get a lead on him.
Walks ok on a lead but owner uses a figure 8 lead if there are other dogs so he doesn't pull. Ok with cats, just interested in them. He does get excited around children and needs a firm hand to remind him to be gentle as he's a big lad.
No medical issues but the stress/tension at home at the moment is causing him to over groom his back legs.
He's ok being left alone. Excitable around other dogs but hasn't found any he doesn't like, but doesn't pick up on other dogs nervousness if there is any.
He can do middle, sit, paw, stay, leave it, go get it is his release to get his food.
He doesn't like his feet touched (can't say I blame him!).
Likes a cuddle on the sofa, sleeps downstairs but might take the chance for a sneaky visit if the stair gate is open.
Loves peanut butter, chicken is his fav, loves a Wubba. Likes a paddle but not keen on swimming. Likes a good hike and is good in the car, well behaved in hotels but not so much down the pub! Likes the attention too much.
And he likes to sleep with a pillow under his head on the sofa.

All in all a lovely fella who needs another family to love him, his owners a devastated to be having to give him up but think this is best for Scout.
He should be coming back to me on Saturday but we can always put anyone interested in touch with his present owners in the meantime. He's around 45 mins from us to give you an idea of distance invoved.
I do have lots of other photos on whatsap. But please contact me via email [email protected], NOT on messanger (I don't get alerts through for some reason if I've got my personal messenger loaded and vice versa) or what's app although I'm happy to send photos through whatsapp once we've connected.

As always I'll give preference to people we already know, but if you can give the lovely boy a loving home forever then let me know..

Little Suki out and about. This lovely little girl is still available for reservation, she's ready to go now, a bright, clever girl who's as pretty as her mum. About as still too which is why there are no photos of her sitting still 😁. A couple of photos of mum as well just because 😁.

The wee gang went to their bigger pen, straight out to the yard for some fresh air and exercise. They're doing well, quite brave! I tried to take some photos, as you will see from the many bum shots it wasn't entirely succesful, lol. I'll post a short video after as well.
And yes I still need to paint the wall in the puppy yard!

Well these guys are doing brilliantly, growing like weeds and big strong puppies, a bit tubby which makes being athletic and running around trickier, lol. Attempting to convice them they want to try food and water, with a milk bar for 10 they don't feel the need to chew and water just isn't milk!! Anyway they are starting to make a bit more of an effort with it now, they've even decided to wake up from their milk coma and play a bit, as you can see tearing newspaper is the best fun, time for toys too I think. Twigletts feeling slightly less fond of the teeth now!

Been a bit busy all week as Justin's had a week off, we've been laying paths in the garden and doing lots of jobs & repairs that have been waiting for ages, all of which have made life just a little easier.
In the meantime Twigletts puppies have been eating & sleeping & are enormous! I've taken out the partition in their box & put paper in as they're shuffling around to toilet now. I'll post some photos and there are a few very short videos too. The girl in the litter is still available for reservation.

Well this happened last week! In an unexpected show of Flatcoat restraint Twiglett had just 3 puppies. Mum and babies doing very well. They're going to be spoiled at a milk bar for 10.

A busy time as the puppies left me yesterday. Brucey baby is still with me for a couple of weeks so he's moved into the puppy play pen in the kitchen so he's got company, Aunty Belle on puppysitting duties at night.
5 out of the 7 puppies have gone to families who have or had one of our dogs already which is just lovely.
Thank you both old clients and new for being part of our extended flatty family, you're all brilliant.
