Well this happened overnight 😁.
8 babies, most of them massive. Clever mummy Scarlett is happy, settled and eating already. A new Dubhbruja girly is in there 🥰.
Hopefully I'll get to everyone on my list after the weekend 👍

A happy New year folks. Finally got rid of the bug 😀.

The news from Dubhbruja is...... We had a Christmas present of Reiker mating Scarlett on Christmas Day & Reddington mating Pippin on the 4th of January. So with a tail wind & fingers crossed we're hoping for puppies at the end of February into the beginning of March. (There go my big birthday plans 😲).
This will be Pippins final fling so we're hoping she's pregnant this time.
I want to keep a girl from both litters.
Anyway, I've got a list going already and I'll contact folks on there this week to let them know.
Looks like it could be a busy spring, now if we can have some lovely weather to go with it that would be great.
Anyone interested in joining either girls list drop me an email [email protected], don't message through Facebook I don't get alerts through.

A very sad end to the year here at Dubhbruja. After a lovely few days with family here for Christmas, first time together for 15 years, we hit new years eve.
Our lovely old Hilly has been a little fragile for a while, 2 months off 14 years she was feeling her age.
On new years eve she took a turn for the worse & after a trip to be looked at by our lovely vet we made the very sad decision to let her go.
I delivered her into the world all those years ago and she left cradled by Justin & I, surrounded by love.
Hilly was a gorgeous, gorgeous soul with not a bad bone anywhere in her body, the sweetest nature ever, she had no concept of personal space & loved with her whole self. As beautiful in nature as she was in looks she's been a pleasure to know and love. She takes another little piece of our hearts with her.
Goodbye poppet, we love you very much & will miss you forever.

It's taken me this long to let everyone know because I've basically been in bed since new year eve with a nasty bug, secondary chest infection, even had to have paramedics, the whole works. I'm on antibiotics, had little sleep because of the cough, so forgive me if I don't acknowledge any comments/messages.

Let's hope 2025 is going to be better than the end of 2024.

Another year nearly gone. A huge thank you to everyone who chose to buy a puppy & join our extended flatty family this year, you're all brilliant.

Little selection of photos snapped over the past week. We had our first family fund to choose & we had our first escapee, Teddy went walk about 😁. Pale blue collared boy fell asleep sitting up next to the food bowl. They moved to big puppy food bowls & a bigger water bowl, which they continue to wade through 😂. Nearly ready to go their larger quarters & run about like mad things.

A busy few weeks here with some minor building and re-decorating in the utility room, it escalated from making good the threshold into the kitchen and turned into replastering, new door and rejig of the coat and boot cupboards and a change of decor, no surprise in this house!
The weather isn't being good, 12 wet dogs are no fun.
Puppies are doing well, eating and now drinking water. I thought you might like to see the carnage of Sunday lunch before I tidied them all up and then today I put their collars on so we now know who they definitly are at a glance!
I've posted a few videos as well but I'll put the links in a different post.
I suppose at some point I'll have to think about Christmas🎄🎅 since we have a full house this year 😁

Basket of puppies, all just had a bottle, the other two were released early because they were fed last & I knew which I'd fed.
Charlie's a bit fed up of them now and off playing outside 🤸, it's in her 😂 genes . All got their eyes open so it's time for food 🫣.

Well we are at nearly 2 weeks old already. Puppies doing well, eyes are open for most of them and we will be working up to some puppy food very shortly., Charlie doing a grand job but getting a bit bored now!
I've contacted people on my list and reserved puppies for the people who got back to me.

I have a couple of liver boys unreserved and possibly a black girl so anyone seriously interested drop me an email

Please use that one because for some reason the email on my web site isn't forwarding to me and I don't always remember to check it every day because it's supposed to forward to me (I appologise to anyone who hasn't had a reply from that email, I didn't realise it was playing up), I'm not tech savy so no idea what's up!
