Jet “thinks he’s Bentley!”

Anyone who’s met Bentley, a decade Jet’s junior, will realise that this is music to my ears! 😂🎶👨🏻‍⚕️

Jet’s pain score peaked at 14/20 and is now down to 8/20. Five months and a number of tweaks to his pain management plan later he’s back to being happy, running upstairs and jumping on the bed 💫🐾

After her second acupuncture session Lola’s dad got a call at work just to tell him that she’d jumped on the bed - it was that long since she’d done it last! 📌💫

Lola has also been performing a sit down protest this week, refusing to move until the walk was redirected to the longer route she’d previously given up on 😊🐕🐾

“My Labrador Hutch is nearly 15 he was really struggling with his arthritis in his back legs. For the last 4 weeks he has been having acupuncture. The difference is amazing! After his first treatment I have never seen him so relaxed and since then he has been like a different dog. His walking has improved and he’s enjoying his walks on the field and roly polys which is so lovely to see. I can’t recommend this treatment enough!”

Harry was stopping frequently on walks and had lost some of his interest in life due to his chronic intervertebral disc disease. After resuming acupuncture he’s leading the way on walks again and even found and carried a ball for ages rather than just ignoring it - doggy for I’m happy and comfortable again! 🐕🎾🌟

Tia’s tolerated her acupuncture very well (no sedation required), has stopped her heavy panting due to suspected lumbosacral disease and was even caught counter-surfing for pill assist treats! 🌊🏄🏻‍♂️💫

Katy’s got her fetching addiction back albeit she’s replaced her red frisbee with a blue bone 🥏 🐶

It’s in the name - degenerative joint disease (or osteoarthritis) by definition gets worse with time so the pain management plan that worked at the beginning will need to up level as the disease does. Katy is receiving multimodal pain relief as well as electroacupuncture 💊🌿⚡️📌 but she’s got her mojo back - she jumped onto her mum’s bed for the first time in years last week! 💫🐕

🥜🌿 Our recent addition of tasty peanut butter flavoured CBD bites had Ellie visibly more comfortable and settled within a couple of days. She’s now on four drugs as well as her monthly electroacupuncture but is making it clear she’s got more to give. 💫🐶

Ellie’s humans got a puppy expecting a relatively short period with two dogs - Poppy is now 4 years old yet Ellie won’t contemplate being left behind when a walk is on the cards! ⏰🐕

For the first time in memory Murphy
bounded up the steps at Miller Park as well as jumping over his brother whilst playing! His dad says he’s generally more bouncy and seems to be moving more freely… Behavioural indicators are key!! 🗝 🐕💫

Despite Murphy’s positive outlook on life when we reviewed his pain management plan things didn’t seem quite right. Two months on, after starting acupuncture in addition to his Galliprant, hydrotherapy and Yumove there’s none of the squirming and dropping that had been associated with my checks for muscle pain.

For patients like Murphy who have had cruciate ligament surgery when young osteoarthritis is inevitable - the 🗝 is management! 💊📌💦🦮 joins team Murphy in the NY too 👊🏻
