Tapnell Farm Park is an all-weather family attraction on the Isle of Wight. Formerly one of the Isle of Wight's largest dairy farms, Tapnell Farm Park now plays host to a whole range of animals, including Wallabies, Meerkats, Donkeys, Goats and more! It also has loads of indoor and outdoor activities for families, including a large Play Barn, Jumping Pillow, Pedal Go Karts, and a Straw Bale Adventure Barn.

We’ve got a line-up of fun for ALL ages. Whether you're bouncing, crafting, or meeting our adorable animals, there's something for everyone!

🏰 Bouncy Barn (17th to 21st February) - Bounce into the fun with a HUGE range of inflatable activities! From bouncy castles to helter skelter, drop slides to toddler-friendly bouncy castles – it’s going to be the ultimate bounce around! Pre-book your session for guaranteed fun, or join in on the day, subject to availability.

🎨 Pottery Painting (17th – 21st February) - Get crafty & creative! Paint your own pottery for £5 per craft, available from 11am to 3.30pm in The Cabin.

🐰 Animal Activities (17th – 23rd February) - Get up close and personal with some of our adorable animals! Don’t miss out on these interactive sessions (times and activities are weather dependent and may change, so please check the board when you arrive to plan your day):

Our Tortoises are awake! 🐢🌿

After a 10-week winter snooze, our Spur-Thighed Tortoises – Jack, Libby, Maia, Simmy & Timmy – are officially out of hibernation! 💤➡️🌞

For now, you’ll find them in our Animal Barn hatchery, warming up until the weather improves.

In the wild, these tortoises hibernate to survive colder months when food is scarce and the colder temperatures naturally slow them down. Being cold-blooded, they need warmth to move, eat, and digest their food.

Right now, they’re taking it slow as they rehydrate and regain energy – because let’s be honest, we all need a bath and a good meal to get going after a long nap! 😆🍽️

Meet our newest residents at Tapnell Farm Park! 🥳🐴

Introducing Little Miss Darcy (brown and white) & Kady (black and white) – our adorable new Miniature Shetland Ponies! 😍

After teasing you with a few hints over the past few weeks, we're so excited to finally announce they're here!

These two are already making themselves at home in their paddock behind the Wallaby Walkabout and can’t wait to meet you on your next visit!

✨ Here are some fun facts about Miniature Shetland Ponies:
1️⃣ Miniature Shetland ponies are surprisingly strong for their size – they can pull about double their weight! 💪
2️⃣ They’re headstrong and super smart! 🧠
3️⃣ Ever wondered why horses are measured in "hands"? It dates back to the Middle Ages, when people used their hands to measure height! 🤚

Little Miss Darcy and Kady have joined us from a local farm. Despite their miniature size, they have a big personality with some stubborn streaks! 😆

Kady is a piebald colour (meaning black and white patches), while Little Miss Darcy is a skewbald (meaning brown or chestnut and white patches on a white coat). These two are affectionate, but their strong-willed nature keeps things interesting! 🐾

They have a strict exercise and grazing routine to keep them healthy and happy, and they’re ready to meet all of you. Come say hello and give them a warm Tapnell Farm Park welcome! 💕

Meerkat Update – A New Beginning for Kolo & Zuri 🐾

Change is never easy, but sometimes it’s the kindest choice. 💛

After the sudden loss of two of our meerkats last year (Doto & Zola), we've made the heartfelt decision to move Kolo (dad) and Zuri (daughter) to Monkey Haven, where they could join a larger family.

Meerkats thrive in groups and with just the two of them remaining, we knew this was the best choice for their happiness and well-being.

As they’re related, growing their own family wasn’t an option. Thankfully, the amazing team at Monkey Haven had a lone female in need of company, and after a gentle introduction, we’re thrilled to say that all three have bonded beautifully! 🥰

They will be greatly missed by the team and visitors here at Tapnell Farm Park, but knowing they’re thriving in a loving home makes it all worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who has come along to visit them over the years! 💛

Tapnell Farm Park is an award winning, all-weather family attraction on the Isle of Wight. Formerly one of the Isle of Wight's largest dairy farms, Tapnell Farm Park now plays host to a whole range of animals, including Wallabies, Meerkats, Donkeys, Goats and more!
