This was me holding Henry on Friday afternoon, the following day he died!. A very sad day at Hillview Llamas! The cause on the surface appears to be hypothermia but of course there could be additional underlying contributory factors. No commiserations thank you, please just enjoy the photo to remember him by, especially those who had the pleasure of meeting this joyous little fella.

Well I never! Please welcome to the herd, Henry!. He could only have been fathered by Fritz who will be 2 tomorrow! Fritz's father, Black Pearl, was also less than 12 months old when he shared his genes. A warning to anyone who thinks it safe to let such young males run with females!

It was a busy weekend for the boys.

Well who in their right mind wouldn't be taken with such cuteness? I couldn't stop watching for one hour as they ventured out into their new world. Nature can be such a beautiful thing!
