Hally is back ❤️ we’ve not jumped since Feb so little trip to Pepperdrum 💃🏻 just a little course for confidence but Hally flew, was such a good feeling to have my horse back ❤️ still have time to get an event in before the season ends 😊

A dangerous horse with a complete novice rider 😮 this just shows how misunderstood horses can be, I trust this horse completely 💕 she is the sweetest horse and her and Kadie are going to have a lot of fun together 🐴 2 months ago Kadie starting sharing Apple 🍎 she had a handful of lessons at a riding club so is a complete novice when it comes to riding but doing a really good job with Apple as you can see 💕Apple was deemed dangerous and rears when she feels to much pressure although because of the way and how much time we have taken she has never rearer with us, we’ve changed a lot of things, we have a bareback saddle and @inca.equestrian is in the process of getting her a bitless bridle, the same that is used in this video #bitelessandbareback #bitelessandbarefoot #tracklivery #newmoonlivery
Sicknote AKA Hally having his physio treatment, he has been off work for almost 3 months now, we have Rob Jackson the horseback vet coming Tuesday (this is where all my money goes 😂) as we think he has a couple of vertebrae out 🙈 and then hopefully we can start working in hand again 🤞 for now he is on the grass track on his own 😂 so he can’t play, sounds mean but it’s for his own good and only temporary and has horses either side of him that he can still touch #hallybob #tracklivery #newmoonlivery

Apple was really relaxed with Kadie considering that she is an overthinker (both 😂) we did some very basic walk and halt transitions asking with her seat and sending apple the picture in her head, concentrating on breathing properly to keep everyone grounded (it’s a lot all at once) #applesrehab #tracklivery #helpinghorses
So yesterday I decided to take Apple out for a hack in the bareback pad and cavesson, she’s very unconfident hacking, at the last home she reared and went over backwards and she definitely remembers that, Apple is very comfortable on her hind legs and when she gets stressed that’s her go, we still have lots of work to do with her confidence and that will take time but from today she has a new sharer Kadie that rode her over the weekend (will post video later) and they will start their journey learning together ❤️ #newmoonlivery #barefootthoroughbred #bitless #bareback
So over the last few weeks Apple has been out hacking and I rode her in the bare back pad 💓 the reason I didn’t ride her at the beginning is because I am at the maximum weight for Apple and I’m very cautious about how much horses can carry especially when they are not strong enough, out hacking she was very tense and wanted to jog home but Rebekah just rode very quietly and Apple did chill, Apple doesn’t like her saddle but loves the bareback pad so saddle is up for sale so I can buy the bareback pad with stirrups 😀 it’s now time to up the work again and really get her bending round the inside leg in walk and trot and she likes to walk round a circle on the inside shoulder 😂 and teach her how to halt 😂 her typical halt is lean in the shoulder and on the mouth so we are now in the process of teaching her to halt with her weight back #rehabbinghorses #applesrehab #tracklivery #barefootthoroughbred
