Winner 🥇, Urbanist came out a clear winner, under a brilliant ride from Immy Robinson, at Knutsford Races yesterday finishing 15 lengths ahead of the only other finisher from the 5 runner field.

He’s very pleased with himself as are all those who have been involved in achieving this win and we’re hopeful for one last good run before the close of the season.

We’d also just like to take a second to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped us to get to this point ☺️.

Well as the season begins to draw to a close and Urbanist approaches his last couple of runs before a well deserved holiday, here’s a quick update on what the season has had in store for us so far.

After a few mixed results at the start of the season where we learned a lot about him, and with a little bit of fine tuning, Urbanist has had two very admirable runs recently beginning with a 2nd at Tabley Point to Point on 23rd April in the 3 mile Hunt Members Race followed then by a gutsy 5th over 4 miles at the Cheltenham Hunter Chase meeting on 5th May. This was a big achievement for Urbanist as when he arrived with us he had not finished a race in just under 2 years so to be one of only half the field to finish is a great improvement. He jumped round excellently the whole way never missing a fence but most importantly he once again is enjoying his racing.

We hope to get a couple more runs in before the season finishes and hopefully Urbanist will continue on the upward curve he has shown these last few runs.a

Brilliant first days pointing finishing 3rd behind two good horses on only his second run for us…. Not bad considering he’s had no form for 3 years.

Thanks to Toby McCain for giving him brilliant ride.

I’d also like to thank H**e Swindail for all that she does.
