💜 Dexter 💜 In January 2024, Dexter injured his spine after colliding with a goal post. His diagnosis indicated that most dogs recover the ability to walk unassisted, though motor deficits may persist. Since then, we’ve been working hard on his recovery, aiming to get him back to off-lead running and his energetic, playful self. Physiotherapy has been key to his progress, helping him regain strength, improve mobility, and reduce the chances of long term deficits. By focusing on targeted exercises and treatments, like laser therapy, we’ve supported his nervous system recovery and muscle function, helping him get back to his active, happy self with minimal limitations.I am beyond thrilled to share that Dexter is now back to off-lead running with minimal motor deficits and equal hindlimb strength.
