This map shows the extent of a proposed "Solar Farm" on the east of the valley. Solar panels in rows 10 to 50 metres long, up to 3.5metres high would cover one-third of the 77 acres of hillside. This would be a highly visible scar on the landscape.

Night falls on Bradthorne. The Seven Stars is locked up and everybody has gone home.The streets are quiet, or they would be if Malcolm the village idiot would stop his singing and go to bed.

The Town Hall clock is stuck on twenty past two; Alfred Monks, the caretaker, has forgotten to wind it again. The stall holders have all gone home from the market now.
I wonder what films are showing tonight at the Bradthorne Pictorium? They were showing "Top Hat" last week. Nearly the whole village went to see it.
