You may receive an email from Petchip.network advising that your pet’s microchip registration has expired and you need to pay for it to be updated – PLEASE IGNORE. THIS IS A SCAM. The email comes with a link taking you to a page showing your pet’s name, microchip number, your contact phone number and looks very convincing. PLEASE IGNORE.

There is a list of approved databases on gov.uk: Get your dog or cat microchipped - GOV.UK

Typically you would only pay a fee or first registering your pet or if you contact the company to update your details .

🐱Meet the Team Monday!🐱

As you all will know - Dave is one of our fabulous Veterinary Surgeons

Dave graduated from Liverpool Veterinary School in 2000 and has worked at Bennett Williams Vets since 2009. Dave loves being a general practice vet; seeing a range of cases and building relationships with clients and their pets.

He is a true outdoorsman – running, hiking, climbing. Dave is keen to learn how to kayak next.

🤩Meet the Team Monday🤩

Natasha (Tash) is our wonderful Head Veterinary Surgeon.

She may be a familiar face to lots of you as she worked here as a new graduate vet between 2012 and 2015 before spreading her wings and moving to Australia where she lived and worked for 4 years. She returned to Bennett-Williams Vets in February this year and is very happy to be back in her old stomping ground.

Tash has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and emergency and critical care and is part way through her surgical certificate.

She's a keen outdoor swimmer and surfer and spends most of her time outside of work on the beach with her little boy and her dog Mogs.

Deafness is rising in the UK; by 2035, it is estimated that one in five British people (over 15 million) will experience hearing loss. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity that trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds like the smoke alarm, alarm clock and even a baby’s cry. Their burgundy coats also act as a visual reminder to the public when they are out and about that their partner is deaf

Donations raised through Pennies when you pay by card help support Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Just a small donation can make a big difference!
