Oh no, they’ve reached that stage!!! Further reinforcements needed! Standard Goldendoodles.
Feeding in front of the fire 🔥 🐾 it’s cold outside!
Bedtime feed. Ken was fast asleep and a little late to the game. He soon found his place. 🐾🥰
So when I call Annie, she doesn’t run towards me, she launches 🚀 🐾😂
So this is Annie running around with Mummy Doris. Her recall is good and she returns and sits on command. She then flings herself off the mini step. 🙈🐾🐶
Keeping cool. Please remember if the floor is too hot for you to stand on with bare feet, it is for your dog! Please don’t walk your dog in heat. Always provide cool shelter and something to cool down in outside. Here are Alfie & Gertie enjoying their paddling pool. 🐾🏊♀️
Fun in the garden. Lola & Annie 🐾🐾
Chaos! Excuse my cat in the background (she’s in season and calling like a comedy cat) 🐾
They’re absolutely on one today!!!! 😂🐾🙈🐶
Over the last few days I’ve been playing firework sounds to the puppies. They really don’t care! (They possibly do care more about my very slightly screechy voice whilst taking video. Disclaimer; it sounds louder on camera as I’m closest to it.) Desensitisation, socialisation and habituation! Imperative in order to create well rounded puppies without issues. 💥
Today I am introducing a different texture of fake grass and hopefully starting the toilet training process! I say “hopefully” because every litter is different! Go Mabel!!!! First puppy to walk on and do a wee!
Move up day. 🐾 3 weeks tomorrow. How the time flies. Weaning will start at the end of this week.
The change in the puppies over the last couple of days is immense! They’re acting like little dogs now 🐾
Millie & Autumn playing in the garden. Autumn has a new home but Millie is still looking. Licence No. AWL070 with WLDC
6 weeks old today and the puppies are listening to fireworks! All week they will be played 5 minutes of firework sounds. All part of their socialisation plan! Socialisation is key to ensuring your dog is a well rounded dog. What you do with your puppy creates the dog you will have. Gun dogs aren’t born not scared of a gun, they have been socialised to not be scared of it! Dogs don’t need to be scared of fireworks!!!! SOCIALISATION is the key!!! Introduce introduce introduce!!!!! X
